First Twilight

Action A - 769 Bunker Street
[World-travelling was not a concept that was unfamiliar to Riku. However, they usually happened because he wanted to and did not involve waking up in a new world with no warning whatsoever - the last thing he remembered was that he went to sleep in his bedroom. Which this room certainly wasn't. The pyjamas were not his either.

To make matters worse, he could not summon his Keyblade or cast spells.

However, Riku is not the one to panic easily and after grabbing some baseball bat from the closet in the room he had woken up in for protection, he starts to explore his new surroundings. How did he get here? Had he been kidnapped?

As Riku wanders down the corridor from 'his' room, one of the pictures on the all catches his attention. It is him as a child standing in front of a house he does not recognise with two other children. The girl Riku is certain he has never seen before in his life, but the boy.....]

Hang on a minute....is that Sora?

Action B - Around Town
[Riku is later seen in town, trying to take in his new surroundings. Passers-by may find a silver-haired boy glancing at several places - the shops, the City Hall, the Post Office....trying to take a mental note of them. Bother him?]

Action C - School
[Riku is not someone who likes being forced like a slave or prisoner, but there could be an advantage of going to school. For starters, he could find some non-drone classmates or teachers who he could ask for more information about the town.

Thanks to having explored the town earlier, he is pretty late for classes. Oh, well. As he is putting things into his locker, one of the drone girls calls him.]

Hey, Riku!

Huh?

Are you coming to Charlie's party tonight?

....Party?

You don't know? The whole town is talking about it, silly! [And with that, the drone girl gives a wink]

Oh...yeah. I remember. [Trying not to draw suspicion among the drones]

Well, I hope you come. You'll be missed if you don't. [And with that, the drone girl gives a wink]

W-wha-?! [The drone girl just gives an empty giggle and walks off. Trying not to look too weirded out, Riku returns to his locker. Say hello? Troll him? Tell him off for being late for class]

"Eh33h33..~" Someone saw that from her own locker. "They won't really notice if you don't go, they're purretty silly like that..~"

Who is this... Thing with white eyes.

Huh.....? [Looks up from the locker and...yeah, you do look rather weird Nepeta. XD However, Riku's been to several worlds and is friends with a talking mouse. You wouldn't be the first weird-looking individual he's met. XD

Anyway, the way she looks and behaves....at least it's not drone behaviour. Maybe Riku can get some info out of her.]

Oh, right. They don't exactly....have a lot of personality.

Well that's good because these eyes are a sensitive subject to say the least-

Still, grinning! "Yea, they got their think-pans scrubbed befur I even got here!" ...For the most part. "They're like the characters on a computer game instead."

[The most Riku has ever been exposed to computers was that virtual Twilight Town, although he thinks gets what she's saying]

[Thoughtfully] Hmm. I guess they are...

Do you know what they are, exactly?

"Most of the othurrs call them 'drones'," she explains. "...But I'm purretty sure they used to be like us befur."

'Used' to...?

Nepeta nods. "Yea. They got their think-pans scrubbed, so they don't have any memories, or even purrsonalities anymore. It's cr33py," she adds, "Because it could happen to me, or you, or anyone if we're not carful!"

Wait a minute - you said it could happen to us as well? [Warning: alarm bells ringing here]

[Sora's just brushing his teeth, do do do, when he hears a very familiar voice. Blinking, he turns his head slowly to look behind him. When he finally faces the other person, Sora stops and stares. Was that...Riku?

It takes him a couple of moments before a wide grin spreads on his face as he runs towards his friend.]

RIKU!

[And he's just thrown himself at Riku to give him a great big hug.]

Huh? [Riku knows that voice from anywhere. And as he turns around, he sees a very familiar face throwing himself at him] Hey! [And he nearly topples backwards but manages to keep his balance] Hang on - Sora? Is that you?! What are you doing here? [Or rather what were the both of them doing here?]

[Harry was also late for class, and today was one of his favourites so he was rushing to get there. Unfortunately, his glasses slipped slightly and he crashed into Riku on his way, books flying everywhere.]

I'm really sorry! [He did his best to grab his books and hoped he hadn't hurt the boy. Or worse, a drone.] My glasses slipped and I didn't see you and I'm sorry.

Aaaaargh! [And Harry's crash made Riku bang his head on the locker. Because his mun is a horrible woman.] Owwww....what the...? [Rubbing his head, Riku turns to see what the hell that thing was that bumped into him-

Oh, it's a kid. And it looks like he didn't do it on purpose. Oh, well. It happens] Don't worry about it. [Head still sore, Riku gets down to help to help poor Harry gather his books. ;_;]

[Harry didn't have many books. There weren't many in the library about magic.] Thanks. [He tried to give the boy a smile.] I'm Harry. Really sorry. You okay?

[GOSH HOW DARE YOU HARRY. HE IS GOING TO HUNT YOU DOW- LOL not really. He picks up a couple and hands them to the other boy as a peace gesture] Yeah, I'll be fine. As I said, don't worry about it. Accidents happen. [His head's still throbbing but he's suffered far worse :|]

[Harry gladly took them, surprised. He's still not used to people being nice to him.] Thanks.

[Nods] Yeah. [And with that, he turns back to his locker to get whatever book for whatever class he has next. Sorry, Harry. He doesn't mean to be rude - his social skills aren't always that great and he's got a lot on his mind from only waking up here this morning.]

[That's more like what he's used to.] Bye then.

Looking for something?

....I guess you could say that. [This woman doesn't look like one of the drones either. Although that doesn't necessarily mean she's trustworthy. Which is why Riku is being a little vague]

How vague? Do you not seek help?

That depends on what help you can give.

....[And, what he heard from a couple of conversations between some drones] There's a mayor of this town, isn't there? [That seems a reasonable question to ask her at the moment]

... Ohoh. I see. That is what you seek, is it?

Yeah. I heard about him from one of the, well....'locals'. [Or rather drones] How much authority does he have over this place?

New here, perhaps? Only one who has no experienced this place's potential asks such a question.

I've just woken up here this morning.

Then, it would be quite a shame to spoil you on the game you've been sent to too early.

So you're not going to tell me anything? [This face, Beatrice. THIS. FACE. :/]

Indeed not! [ she wants to make him Mad ]

[Unfortunately, Beatrice, Riku's generally pretty good at keeping a cool head and not losing his temper unless there is a really good reason otherwise. So you'll just get a funny look instead as if he's not taking you seriously] Is there another reason why you're feeling so chatty, then? [Besides being obnoxious for the sake of it? Of course, it's possible that could be the only reason but there's something about this woman that is rubbing Riku the wrong way and he cannot quite put his finger on it. Unfortunately, thanks to Mayfield, he's lost the ability to 'smell' (or rather detect) the darkness in other people's hearts, which could have given him a better idea of what type of person Beatrice was]

[ She shrugs her shoulders lightly. In all honesty, she was merely looking for entertainment. Nothing more, and nothing less. There was nothing a witch hated more than boredom, after all ]
