Ahright ... well, see—one or two people I talked to who got droned an' came back? They said'ey were aware of everything. Like watchin' somebody else drive—but others've said'ey remember gettin' sent back to where they came from while they were droned. Which would mean' somethin' else was takin'eir place.

[A beat passes.]

So I dunno what to think, but I don't see how both of'ose things can be happenin' at once. Not for everybody.

[He sighs at the latest one-- he has no idea how to talk to Sin right now, and there's a small part of him that wants to join him and throw his own tantrum.]

[He lays his sword down gently-- he hasn't missed that, and the exchange just makes him angrier, as if the town is taunting him, his wife for his sword again-- and climbs the stairs. Just getting up doesn't give him any bright ideas, but after hesitating for a second he knocks; this can't be healthy, for either of them.]

I've been droned before. For about a week, apparently? I don't remember any of it.

[Then, a snort.] Except for the last day. The droning started to wear off gradually. I could move around any way that I wanted, and I could think, but I was still talking like a drone. But I was told that's more of a glitch than anything that ought to be happening. So. Take it with a grain of salt.

I wouldn't know much about droning but I don't think anyone who's turned into a drone is better off. It just seems like...they take your heart from you and you're just empty. But, there's hope! I mean, some people managed to wake up that librarian! So, we just need to remind them who they are. Their heart's still there somewhere, just asleep I guess.

I can't speak for everyone but the times I was droned I wasn't conscious of it. And if anything was happening to me underneath that I sure don't remember it.

Y'know it'd be great to say you're better off being as ignorant as the drones are. But I don't think so.
