-There was a crash just outside as Dynamo found himself randomly teleporting himself upon awakening from the droning process. He shook his head to clear it and looked around, almost in a stupor. Just what happened? Standing up, he decided he needed to investigate.-

Oh, Mayfield~ Seems I had a bit of a glitch in my teleportation program. Minor annoyance, but I must say... I can't help but notice a few oddities around the town. I don't really recall the past few weeks, but it seems I've missed something. Perhaps one of you can help me catch up?

You were droned! I stopped by to see if you wanted to head to the park again and you were... just... checked out. [She goes awkwardly quiet for a moment.] So that should be why there's some time missing.

...what do you mean by a "glitch?" [Why yes, that's a subject change!]

Well, I suppose I would have to test it out again. I teleported outside mid-air I guess. That'd be the best way to describe it.

It's rare that they do. I've heard of people remembering, but I think it's usually the strange dronings. Not regular ones.

[She makes a concerned noise.]

Mid-air? When you weren't expecting it, you mean? Or did you not end up teleporting where you wanted to? The town's been... strange for the past bit. The drones are malfunctioning. And walls and floors don't seem to work right, either. Maybe it's related?

Huh. That's... well that's interesting.

... as for the uh, teleporting thing? I wouldn't worry about it.

Dynamo.... It's too late! I'm already worried! What if you had gotten yourself stuck in something? That's been happening to people all over town!

... well there was the time I got myself stuck on top of a light pole.

Just how... not fully operational are we talking? What parts are operational?

-He tapped his index fingers together and seemed a little sheepish.-

I have no idea where I'm going to land.

[What was that faint tappy-tap sound coming through on the line? ...well, that didn't matter so much after he had actually answered the question.]

What?! And you've still been using it?! That's dangerous! Are there at least failsafes? Something to detect solid objects and cancel the teleport? Anything?

I suppose it's something you'd have to... see.

I've already experienced your teleports, if that's what you mean. Or are you talking about internal diagnostic messages....?

I guess if I have a good enough... ah... knowledge of my surroundings, then most of the landings are safe. Though as long as I've been here, you'd think I'd know the layout of the town pretty well.

If you can say one thing about Mayfield, is that the architecture is usually consistent...
