[There's a package on the doorstep for Nyanpire, but it's several times larger than him. And heavy, very heavy. He's trying his best to shove it inside so he can open it, but there's no real progress being made. It's stuck against the bottom of the door frame.]

Help! I need help! Nyaaaaaaa!

[Mayfield was a pretty scary place. The phone had some people saying some pretty serious stuff. Something bad could happen to his friends and any moment, and he didn't want that! He'd have to protect them! And the only way to do that, tiny-tiny as he was, was to get stronger. Up until now, he hadn't been too sure how to go about this. But he had just gotten back the giant pile of fitness gear and health products that Masamunya had bought for him. So now he was gonna use them! And get strong! And protect everyone!

So there's a little kitty with little kitty-sized weights on his legs, and a sweatband on his head, and a wagon full of highly questionable vitamin supplements nearby. The kitty is working out quite hard, doing side lunges and squats and running around in circles... and occasionally just falling over and panting and looking quite exhausted.]

N... nyaa... it's hard to be strong...

Morph? [He tilts his head and makes a curious little "prrrt" sound.]

[He stops and spins about and stares up at Al with no small amount of surprise. He hadn't expected him there! And he was rather big and loomy...

But he's Alphonse, so it's okay!]

[And he returns to his little kitty jumping jacks with even more intensity.]

[Ooh, excellent! Here was someone to help him!]

Charlie! Charlie! I nyeed help! Help!

[Nyanpire lets out an exhausted huff and rolls onto his back, then blinks up at the concerned girl.]

I... I'm tired, nyaa....

Learning to be quiet on the stalk, and training yourself for speed. Most of what you do every day helps with speed.

Hmm... Miss Nao was more into yoga than calisthenics, and she was plenty sneaky.

You need flexibility, and balance. Some of it you grow into, but exercise will make it happen faster.

[Al is practically expiring with how cute this is, and he has to resist just bending over and grabbing Nyanpire into a tight snuggle.

Instead, he startsto copy, doing jumping jacks that clang loudly every time he lands.]

I'll... I'll bite the bad guys really hard! And drink all their blood! Nyaa!

Nyaa... thank you!

[That did make it easier! Somewhat. He had enough strength to push it bit by bit down the hall, and then to try to turn it towards the living room. When it bumped up against the coffee table he stopped, pleased with himself.

Until he started to try to remove the packing tape. It was much harder going than he would have thought. So hard on his little claws!]

CHARLIE! I need more help, nyaa!

[Wow, so noisy! Nyanpire eventually jumping-jacks his way around so he's facing Al instead, and stares up at him with some serious surprise.]

Nyaa, okay, okay... now we do stretches!

[No more hopping! Instead he started with side-stretches to the right, and then moved on to side-stretches to the left... It's still probably pretty cute.]

Uh, well... I could race you. Or I could show you some tricks somebody taught me.

[Fighting-- which is what Firo assumes Nyanpire is preparing for-- can be tough when you're tiny, but there are techniques to make up for it.]

A vampire...?

[Her eye might have twitched there but then she tries to stop herself from laughing. This had to be the most adorable vampire she ever came across. The little black cat reminded her of her mentor's cat form except Nyanpire was much smaller. There was the fact said mentor was a vampire hunter so there's a touch of ironic humor. ]

You... you believe me, nyaa? It's true! I have wings and fangs and a cross...

[There is indeed a little yellow cross on his belly. He's sitting up so that she can easily see. And kittens usually have much smaller incisors than that...]

[She picks up Nyanpire and examines him. And she might be gently squeezing his paw because she used to do that with her cats. ]

You're very different from the vampires in my home, that's for sure.

Back home if a vampire got too gluteous, we'd have to hunt them but I don't think you'd do such a thing. Right?

Nyaa! [He hadn't really expected the pickup. There's squirming! And a little bit more of a squirm when she investigates his paw.]

Yoga... that's like stretches, right? I can stretch!

[And then he plants his forepaws on the ground and has himself a biiiiiig long kitty stretch. That's what Ilsa had meant, right?

At any rate, it ends in a flop onto his side.]

Mrr... am I gonna grow up? Am I gonna get bigger? I've been here for... for... a long time! Do I look bigger, Ilsa?

That is a good question. It's odd - some of the children have grown, while others have not.

[ She pets the kitty. ]

We might need to track changes in your weight and length.

I'm a VAMPIRE! Vampires drink blood, nyaa!

[He sits back, frowning and letting his little wings flap.]

So I should drink BAD GUY blood!

Well vampires are mostly humans, that's why. I never heard of a vampire making an animal a vampire before.

[He makes a tiny, claw-less little swat at her.]

Ooh... the vampire that made me was a human-looking vampire... I've never met other Nyanpires like meow.
