Second Sortie
[A. Action - in front of the gun store]
[It was a crying shame that she couldn't go in because she was 'underaged'. But that didn't stop Erica from looking. Some of those new guns were awesome! She had her face and hands plastered up against the store window looking in, grinning as she exclaimed and pointed out a few guns. Her pantsless state is pretty apparent.]
That's a Walter and Kosh! But it's so streamlined! But there's no Karsland guns here. What gives? I thought I could find a replacement for my MG 42... that sucks. Hey shopkeep where's the Karsland weapons?
[The shopkeep won't answer her cause she's a little girl anyhow. Erica's going to pout.]
This sucks. No Strikers, no MG 42s... I can't even find a Glock anywhere. What kind of town is this?
[B - That Fence Somewhere]
[Bored out of her mind, Erica had grabbed a bunch of canned drinks and chugged them all. After that, she lined them up on a random fence and started chucking rocks with startling accuracy. It seems that she's done this before to be honest.]
[C - Phone Filtered from Drones]
Hey, I know I've been here for a while but I've got a question. Anyone from Karsland here? It's a Middle-Europe country. I dunno how geography is here since this is Liberion and stuff.

If I had a world map I could point it out, or a globe. But Karsland is east of Gallia and Britannia, and nestled between Gallia and the Ourussia areas.

Well, Karsland is a Empire ruled by Emperor Fredrich IV. Our former capital is Berlin before the majority of Karsland's people went down to South Liberion, and founded Neue Karsland.

Re: A
[Erica blinked curiously.] No, I'm not too young. I'm in service back in my world.

--Ah...? What country and era are you from, miss?
[...]
And your age also, if it's okay to ask?
no subject
I'm sixteen as well.

[she's looking at the possibility of alternate realities of a similar base earth here, in which case age may become irrelevant. Let's poke elsewhere a bit more first before drawing a conclusion of any kind...]

And this is a typical Liberion town. They're calling that "America" here from what I heard. It's fairly normal from my standards in appearance alone, although this place doesn't have the usual trappings of a Liberion town buying war bonds.

Oh by the way, I haven't introduced myself. I'm 1st Lt. Erica Hartmann, 501st Joint Fighter Strike Witches. And you?

Going to cross her arms and raise an eyebrow a little there out of mild amusement, however. What an introduction!] My, that's definitely an impressive title, lieutenant Hartmann. My name is Ciel. The circumstances could be better, but it's nice to meet you nevertheless. As for the question of arms... Well, to my experience, the town rarely provides any physical targets we can retaliate against. That makes knowing how to attack not as useful as you may think, but still, it's good to have something to defend yourself with just in case. You're having trouble trying to get anything because the drone clerk wouldn't take you seriously, right?

[She nodded, folding her arms.] I don't think they have anything Karsland made but Liberion guns are just as good. I see a couple of Heckler and Kosh and a Remmington there but they're not automatic like I'd prefer. If anything I'd prefer a handgun anyhow like a Glock or maybe a Browning but the chance of getting a Britannia weapon here is low. And no one seems to have any Karsland anything. I'd kill for some bratwurst.

and now back to business]
I see the brands you're mentioning, but if you're looking for a handgun that's automatic, wouldn't the M1911 be best? It's highly customizable and still in circulation worldwide a century after its first creation. I don't think people are exaggerating either, when they call it 'the world's best pistol'. [also processing this lingo... so Karsland = Germany, Liberion = America, and Britannia = UK, huh... hmm, got it.]

B - whoops, forgot this...
She doesn't say anything or try to catch Erica's attention. Such a unique way of reusing materials... ]
