Second Cup (like the coffee place)
Phone (Filtered from drones)
[Well, time to ask for assistance from the other captives of the town. Though, he's probably not made a very good impression on a lot of people.]
So, I have been told it would be wise to have a weapon on hand. I was going to obtain one anyways, but I hear I can ask someone to make it for me. If anyone knows of a boy named, Hiccup, please tell me where I may find him and ask for his services.
Otherwise, I am in need of...a special order. I want something tailored and...in a place like this I do not feel comfortable without wearing it. Also, if anyone would like to learn how to fence I can offer some lessons.
Lastly is there anyone who can replace missing limbs with artificial ones that still function like how a normal one would?
That is all.
Post office
[Crown is currently standing outside the post office looking up at it. He's not entirely sure yet if he should go in. He still needs to find someone who could replace a limb if he lost one and it would probably be good to write a journal. Otherwise, people will see him pacing back and forth with his hand settled on his chin.]
Hardware store
[Olivier showed him the wonder of hand guns. Even though he's not really wanting to use one, it would be good to have some kind of weapon. Too bad he's a minor.]
Look, I just require one of these guns. It is for....MY father. He's very sick and....oh just forget it.
[He will be standing off to the side in the store glaring over at the drone handling the front. Maybe he could steal one.]
Anywhere in Town
[Just walking around really. But the magic of tripping happens and he almost bowls into someone, maybe that's you.]
I apologize, I lost my footing...

[phone]
Re: [phone]
Yes. That is correct.
[phone]
Well, as I say, I can't help much... but if there is something I may assist with, feel free to ask?
Re: [phone]
it's totally gonna happen again.]Hm, than perhaps I can help you. I am assuming you have no combat experience?
[phone]
No, I'm afraid not.
Re: [phone]

Re: [phone]
[phone]
Alright. If you're patient enough to work with me through my natural clumsiness, I would welcome the chance to learn.
Re: [phone]
[A shit ton really.]
All right, meet me in the park in an hour.
[Click, and he has hung up and left for the park. You better be there Remus.]
[phone] -> [action]
[Well, as he's not exactly been given a choice in the matter, Remus takes a moment to locate the most comfortable clothing he can manage, and then bikes to the park to meet Crown. In all honesty, he's a bit nervous. He's never had to fight beyond dueling before, and that's not precisely the most physical of activities.
It only occurs to him when he arrives, that he has no idea what Crown looks like. Context clues, though; he'll begin looking for the boy with the sword.]
Re: [phone] -> [action]
Otherwise, he looks around to see another boy, probably older than him and obviously taller, looking around like a lost puppy (joke totally intended by mun).
Walking quickly over to him, the fifteen year old stops abruptly in front of Remus.]
You are Remus, correct?
[action]
Yes. And I presume you're Crown? [Remus offers a small smile and dismounts his bike, propping it against a nearby bench.]
Re: [action]
[He's suddenly shoving a wooden sword into his hand and moving a few feet back.]
I am not going to go easy on you. You will not learn that way.
[action]
...shouldn't I learn the basics first? Footwork or something? I've never done this before.
[Regardless, he tentatively lifts it into what he hopes is a guarding stance.]
Re: [action]
[He looks at the teen's stance.]
You are to rigid.
[But he's already moved up pretty quickly to Remus and has aimed his sword at his stomach.]
Standing like that makes you easier to knock over!
[action]
There's a bit of a stumble before he rights himself again.]
Could you possibly show me how it's done before knocking me off my bloody feet?
Re: [action]
When Lupin gets to his feet again, Crown just kind of give him a look when he complains.]
I am showing you. Were you not watching? You must stand a little more loosely than what you were. But you should keep a firm grip on your sword. Now, again. I will even let you to come at me this time.
[He stands there, in the stance he had told Lupin to take.]
[action]
Come at Crown. He could do that, couldn't he? He tries to imitate Crown's earlier charge, but while there's ferocity behind his attack, it lacks the grace and finesse that Crown possessed. He's aiming for Crown's unguarded thigh.]
I know like, next to nothing about sword fighting so please bear with me.
Better, aiming for an unguarded point on the body. However, your telling your moves too soon. You must confuse your opponent by making them parry opposite of where you wish to hit them!
WE'RE IN ABOUT THE SAME BOAT
And he's kind of starting to regret agreeing to this.
Regardless, Remus isn't the sort to just give up on something. Gryffindors can be bull-headed to a fault, but it's courage -- if nothing else -- which drives them. There may be the hint of a somewhat inhuman growl just before he charges again, employing much the same tactic as before; perhaps he's simply hoping to countermand finesse with ferocity.]
Re: WE'RE IN ABOUT THE SAME BOAT
He's kind of caught off guard by the growl, but manages to raise his sword up in time to block the blow. Needless to say it does push him back slightly.
With swords locked, well, Crown goes to give Remus a kick in the gut.]
Remember, the enemy will never play fair. Best be sure know how to fight back against it.

You- you know... I may-- may just not be... [Remus coughs again.] ...cut out for this.

And neither was I learning this at the age of five. But you learn to adapt. You are free to leave though. But, I doubt this town is very forgiving.

[It's few moments before Remus can manage to breathe without feeling like a knife is in his side. When he finally manages, he draws himself up again. He's not a quitter, despite how incredibly weak he appears -- and feels, to be perfectly honest.]
Do you think you could ease me into it? [Not that he's expecting Crown to concede...] Or at the very least, not hobble me.
