Second Cup (like the coffee place)
Phone (Filtered from drones)
[Well, time to ask for assistance from the other captives of the town. Though, he's probably not made a very good impression on a lot of people.]
So, I have been told it would be wise to have a weapon on hand. I was going to obtain one anyways, but I hear I can ask someone to make it for me. If anyone knows of a boy named, Hiccup, please tell me where I may find him and ask for his services.
Otherwise, I am in need of...a special order. I want something tailored and...in a place like this I do not feel comfortable without wearing it. Also, if anyone would like to learn how to fence I can offer some lessons.
Lastly is there anyone who can replace missing limbs with artificial ones that still function like how a normal one would?
That is all.
Post office
[Crown is currently standing outside the post office looking up at it. He's not entirely sure yet if he should go in. He still needs to find someone who could replace a limb if he lost one and it would probably be good to write a journal. Otherwise, people will see him pacing back and forth with his hand settled on his chin.]
Hardware store
[Olivier showed him the wonder of hand guns. Even though he's not really wanting to use one, it would be good to have some kind of weapon. Too bad he's a minor.]
Look, I just require one of these guns. It is for....MY father. He's very sick and....oh just forget it.
[He will be standing off to the side in the store glaring over at the drone handling the front. Maybe he could steal one.]
Anywhere in Town
[Just walking around really. But the magic of tripping happens and he almost bowls into someone, maybe that's you.]
I apologize, I lost my footing...

[Just walking around really. But the magic of tripping happens and he almost bowls into someone, maybe that's you.]
I apologize, I lost my footing...

You- you know... I may-- may just not be... [Remus coughs again.] ...cut out for this.
no subject
And neither was I learning this at the age of five. But you learn to adapt. You are free to leave though. But, I doubt this town is very forgiving.

[It's few moments before Remus can manage to breathe without feeling like a knife is in his side. When he finally manages, he draws himself up again. He's not a quitter, despite how incredibly weak he appears -- and feels, to be perfectly honest.]
Do you think you could ease me into it? [Not that he's expecting Crown to concede...] Or at the very least, not hobble me.
no subject
But he sighs. Maybe he should ease up? Probably. Whatever.]
Fine, I will not leave you crippled.
[He'll just go for knocking you over and not bruising you to hell and breaking something? Is that okay with you, Princess?
Raising his wooden sword again he looks to Remus.]
Come at me again. Loosen your stance up a bit, you're repeating your first mistake.
no subject
Remus doesn't understand how one is supposed to simultaneously loosen his stance and run. The two activities don't really seem to add up well in his mind.]
Oh, thank you. Incredibly sweet of you. Bloody--
[Remus sighs, grip tight on his sword again as he charges. He's trying to be loose, as Crown instructed, but aforementioned conflict of understanding leaves him with little clue how to do this. It ends up looking almost comical, with his arms flopping around a bit before he goes in for a midsection strike.]
no subject
No, No, no, All wrong! Crown's just staring for a minute, kind of just going 'what the hell' inside his head as he watches Remus come at him like a rag doll.
Okay, that's not what he meant at all.
As he watches Remus take a swing at him, Crown just leans back. Now...reaaaaally watch here Remus.
See how he moves almost like water? It's graceful, as if he were taking part in a dance. He moves around Remus, taking a few side steps before standing behind the teenager, his sword at his back.]
You were moving like jello there. All right, drop your sword. It seems I need to take a different approach to this.
Thread and Jack
What the hell are you doing over there, practicing how to get beaten in the face or something?
Re: Thread and Jack
Hm, you know Remus? More over, you think you could fare better in sword play than him?
SORRY I DIDN'T SEE THIS
Certainly feels that way. Crown, this is Sirius. He's one of my best mates.
Re: SORRY I DIDN'T SEE THIS
[Sirius blew the other boy a mocking kiss.]
I'm pretty sure a trained seal could fight better then that.
no subject
Than let us see how you fare.
[He's going to take Remus's wooden sword and toss it at Sirius's feet.]
no subject
No use in that, Crown. Sirius fancies himself above all that since some madwoman gave him a gun.
no subject
Olivier's not a mad woman.
[He set himself into the proper broadsword stance, making sure to expose as little of his body as possible.]
Besides, I at least know how to use a sword. You look like a squib trying to use a fish like a wand.
no subject
Olivier? In any case if he believes as such than he would be foolish.
[Well whatever, Sirius is taking up the sword.]
Really now? Care to show the class than?
no subject
Please, I think I need a moment anyway.
no subject
[Sirius observed as he set his stance. While he usually was one to make the first move he decided to hang back and wait.]
That's not a compliment.

Regardless, Remus sighs heavily and drops the wooden sword, eyeing it like the traitor it is before taking a step closer to Crown.]
A different approach? You mean I haven't proven myself useless already?
no subject
[Sorry it's true, but he's not apologizing.]
But with time you can learn. Now, watch myself for a moment.
[Crown is holding his sword and is now demonstrating several fluid motions, very slowly so Lupin can observe.]
You must think of the blade as an extension from your hand. It is not knife you swing about wildly and hope to hit your opponent. It is a body part now, that will cut into your foe.
[He stops and looks to Lupin.]
Now repeat those motions back to me that I just showed you.
no subject
Is this better?
no subject
Loosen up just a slight bit. You are too nervous about it.
no subject
[Remus draws a deep breath and puts himself through the paces again. It takes a couple minutes of stubborn repetition before he finally seems to be easing into it.]
no subject
[Crown's watching now, every so often coming over to adjust how Remus is moving. But after awhile Crown see's the improvement.]
Better. Now, try to pick up the pace.
no subject
...you know, this is a little more what I'd been expecting when you first offered.
no subject
You are being too timid and you are worrying too much about what others think. Block that out and focus. Your enemy will not care if you manage to keep them on their toes.
[He sighs.]
Hm, well I suppose this is how I will have to teach you until you are ready for another match.
no subject
Sorry. I'll practice on my own, you just-- You did a bit of a number on me earlier.
