Mission: 007
[Action: 1650 Albright]
-It was that time again. When the mail delivered something from home, and Dynamo found nothing bad to happen to him yet! So he was quite eager to open the packages addressed to him. The first was a simple envelope, with some computer coding on it. As he looked it over, he realized it was the programming for his teleportation systems.
That was handy.
The next was a small box. Looking it over, he gave it a small shake in an attempt to hear what it could be. It didn't work out too well, so he simply went to opening it. Peeking inside, he was more than pleased to find what he had been hoping for. It was his double edged beam saber.
That was also handy.-
Huh. Well, seems my systems are nearly complete now. That's a relief. Now then... Where to test these out...?
[Action: Anywhere else...]
-Dynamo was having a bit too much fun with teleporting. He's taking advantage of it. Feel free to notice him appear or disappear in a flash of electric energy. He might be on your roof... on a car... or in rare cases, misjudge and wind up dangling from a light pole in a comedic manner.-

Action!
Dynamo! Ah, Dynamo!
[...seems to me like he's inside? So.. yes, she's knocking on the door. And calling out for him. Which is a bit impolite, but she's VERY EXCITED, here.]
Action!
Ah, Dakki! Heh, heh! What a surprise! It's good to see you.

[She steps back a bit, just about bouncing as she does. This is certainly a lot happier than she was the last time they talked.]
I've gotten some things back in the mail! They sent me my double saber! Look, look!
[And then she steps back the rest of the way, to give her room to bring this thing out of storage. Her right hand goes to her side and with a blue glow that may be starting to become familiar, she pulls out a weapon with a blue-edged energy blade at either end.]
no subject
Now that looks rather impressive! I guess you could say... I got mine back as well. Nothing too fancy but it serves its purpose.
-He reached back to the small compartment upon his belt and withdrew his own simple looking double edged saber. He idly tossed it in the air to let it spin before snagging it back in his hand.-
Wanna test them out?
no subject
[And she didn't even have to ask him if she could see it. She makes a delighted noise, craning her head to have a better look at it as he tosses it to show it off.]
That's fantastic! And... yes, absolutely!
[...then, a sudden dip in her shining enthusiasm.]
...you'll be alright, right? Have you gotten your auto-repair yet?
no subject
I got some tricks up my sleeve that should make up for that missing program.
-Like... controlling electro-magnetics... or being able to teleport...-
Where shall we begin?
no subject
[She's not completely sure, herself. But the excitement of having an awesome double-ended saber sparring match with Dynamo is making her willing to put her cautions and misgivings aside.]
To the park? Same place as before?
[Fwooom, and she puts her own weapon back into nano-storage. Best not to be swinging that thing around needlessly.]
no subject
... Hm... I suppose I should test these systems, just to make sure they're in proper working order...
-He took a pose, and stepped into a teleport, which meant... as long as he had good open range, he could easily transport himself from one area to another in a flash of fancy electricity. He reappeared some twenty feet ahead of the street.-
Ah, yes, I think that will do.
no subject
[Just as she posed her question, off he went. Which was quite the surprise.]
-tem... Ah!
[Alas, she could do no trick quite that fancy. But she could run fast enough to catch back up with him.]
You can teleport?! That's amazing!
no subject
I'll give you a head start.
no subject
Don't think that I haven't got some tricks of my own!
no subject
-He watches as she darts off, and steps into a teleport. He lands some feet ahead of her, just to watch her run past. A smirk.
He did this every so often, until he actually placed himself dead in front of her, ready to catch her speeding form.-
no subject
Every time he reappears, her eyes dart his way and she grins. Hah, she's not tired at all. She's doing just fine, here. And surely he couldn't do that forever? Wouldn't there be an energy limit?
It comes as a real surprise when he suddenly appears right in front of her.]
Waaaaaah!
[She's gotten quite a head of speed up. She's going to knock the wind out of herself. And if he were any less tall and sturdy, Dynamo might be at a risk for getting toppled.]
no subject
Whoops! You okay?
no subject
A-aah...
[Between that and the slightly stumbly landing, her protests were momentarily muted. Her footing took a few moments to regain, and she was still leaning into Dynamo a bit.]
...I'm fine! You... you goofball! You scared me at first!
[Okay, there's the protesting. But she's laughing as she thumps him lightly on the shoulder.]
no subject
-He patted at her shoulders and grinned as he stepped back.-
We made it here in one piece!
no subject
[She takes a step back as well.]
Was there a risk that we wouldn't? You are using stable tech, right?
[She smiles while she asks it. Yeah. She's teasing... though she certainly DOES hope he's using stable tech.]
no subject
-He'll just leave out the fact his navigation systems haven't been returned to him.-
Now then! Shall we begin?
no subject
[Yes, best not to tell her how many systems are still missing. Good choice.
Dakki nods, takes a few more steps back, and pulls her double saber back out of storage.]
I might be a little rusty. I haven't had a chance to use this for almost a year. This'll be a great warmup!
[A twist of her wrist and she spins it about and around herself, passing it from one hand to the other and back again, ending in assuming a ready for combat stance.]
no subject
Hm! Well... You see... we can do this training of ours... one of two ways...
One!
-His hand holding the saber, began to spin it rather fast, almost like a propeller. Clearly, his wrists were made for such motion. When he stopped, the blades themselves dissolved back into the hilt.-
We can play with our new toys.
no subject
I thought that was what we were here for! What's two?
no subject
-He held out his hand to create a small ball of energy. One of his weapon systems was the ability to control electromagnetic energy. Slamming his fist into the ground he caused a wave of energy to shoot up just before him.-
How well do you think you are at dodging?
no subject
I can be pretty good at dodging when I'm motivated enough!
[And she already looks quite motivated, her battle-ready stance growing much more tense. That was just a demonstration, wasn't it? Some of that's going to come her way any moment now, isn't it?
She's getting herself a mini boss fight out of this, isn't she?]no subject
-He smirks at this... and whips out the saber. He then simply chucked it in her direction. The blades turned on as it spun right at her.
He was playing rough, but he would make sure she wouldn't get hurt.-
no subject
[Maybe after the fight, she'll have the time to squee about his cool moves. Cool moves are a bit less cool when they're being used on you. Her immediate reaction when he sends the saber flying her way is to spin and swing her own weapon into its path, charging it with photonic energy so that she can deflect it.]
Hwah!
[It's a close one. Parrying things was something she needed much more practice with. But she succeeds this time, and in the next moment is rushing in towards Dynamo to counter-attack with an upwards spin of her double saber. If he's playing rough, she'll play a bit rough, too.]
no subject
Umm...what are you doing up there?
no subject
Me? Well I'm... surveying! Yup. You get a pretty good look of things when you're up here.
no subject
You might wanna get down from there before you fall off. How did you even get up there?
no subject
-He might.-
I was just testing out my teleportation systems and I guess... I... Hm. Miscalculated the drop.
no subject
Oh, you can teleport? That should solve everything then! Just come down here.
no subject
-Wobble.-
... but yeah I suppose I'll come down. I just... need to figure out how I got up here. I wasn't supposed to land up here, I was supposed land down there.
-Point.-
Right where you're standing.
no subject
You mean you can't just, I dunno, snap your fingers and come down here?
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
Seriously, get down here before you hurt yourself.
no subject
You know, I never caught your name. It's rather nice that you'd be worried for a total stranger.
no subject
And I'm just doing what's right. I mean, it'd hurt to fall from tha height, right?
