Lils! Lils, he's here! Have you seen him? I mean really seen him? They've decided he's my brother in this place. Of course he's my brother. It's the perfect place for him. I'm going to go use this weird identification card one of the blokes in school gave me to go get alcohol so we can celebrate. You should come over. Hell, everyone's invited. We'll have a party of it at my house or in the park or lake or something. It clearly needs to be celebrated, yeah?

Don't push your luck. And don't get too excited. I don't think muggle alcohol tastes as nice.

Muggle alcohol is something we're all used to. We used to drink it all the time back in school.

You do know I'm filing all of this as necessary knowledge for when we get back? [Never mind they don't know when or how they're getting out of here. Never mind that it's never stopped them in the past, not even with Lily and Remus as prefects.]

After what those people were through at the other carnival, I think we all need a good stiff one.

It's not an outbreak... But have you noticed all sort of people at the carnival ending up all funny? There were severed limbs and even dead bodies, but no one who's in charge--the official people--none of them seemed to notice.

It might have been on purpose, to caw us.

Are you going to tell Potter about any of that?

Maybe, but after. It probably calls for a Marauders meeting really. They both need to know how dangerous this place really is. Especially with what I'm hearing about what happened to those missing people.

I feel a bit dirty saying this, but I may just have to hit up the library in this place.

[In a way it's a relief for Lily. It takes some weight off her shoulders, the burden of sharing the horrible reality of this place with others.]
