Tale 009: Intel and regains

754 Partridge Drive

[Henry has opened up the mail to find a card and a certain walkie talkie. He flips the card over as it shows a picture of a castle. Blinking, he looks out the window, to see in the back that his castle in the backyard. Not destroyed like Regina had done to it. A smile broadens on his face.] (Locked to house mates)

[Later]

[Henry is waiting for those he called on the phone to show up.] (Opened to all.)

 

Phone [Filtered from the drones and The mayor and the Lucy household] 

[So after the horrors of the Carnival, Henry is on the phone and has filtered this call.]

It's Henry. I made it back from the Carnival thanks to Lucas and I managed to find some stuff out. I'm not going to share it over the phonelines, even if it's filtered it might be too dangerous. So come to 754 Partridge Drive. I'll be in the back yard in my castle.

[Cue the cheesiest thumbs up it's possible for a suit of armour to give.]

[Just going to hug the huge suit of armor now.]

[O-Oh. He has so rarely been hugged in this body, and it still makes him sad that he can't feel it. But he does wrap his arms carefully around Henry in return.]

[Well, he'll get all the hugs from Henry. Doesn't matter if he was in a suit of armor, he was still a person.]

[Eventually he pulls back a bit to rest his hand on Henry's head.]

I really like your castle.

[Looking up at the suit of armor, he smiles.]

Thanks, I thought I lost it forever.

[Regina takes away all his happiness.]

You can get mostly anything back here.

[Even the stuff you don't want.]

Yeah, this place can do anything....
[But he sounds bitter as he says it.]

Henry..?

[What's wrong, it's on the tip of his tongue to ask, but... Henry will tell him if he wants to.]

pshaw it's okay.

[theboywiththebook]

It's nothing.

[He's just a little upset with WHAT this town does. Sending evil clown monsters and the like after people and stuff.]

The best thing about having friends is that you can talk to them if you're sad, right?

Y-yeah...

[Henry's looking down.]

It's just...I didn't think any town would be worse than Storybrooke. And, well, Mayfield is. What's worse is you've all been here longer than me and you've suffered so much.

[Cue waterworks.]

[snacklist]

H-Hey, don't cry.

[He's stretching a hand out and resting it lightly on Henry's head, ruffling his hair gently.]

Even if it's bad sometimes, we're only going to get through it by protecting each other and moving forwards. Don't think about what might have happened here in the past, we're all still here and we can still be okay.

I know...but this place is just worse than Storybrooke. It just gives you things to be happy about first, and then it just rips it all away from you and it just reminds everyone how bad it is...

[Sorry Al, just crying still. Maybe even a little for you too. Cause after all, Henry's kind of figured a metal suit of armor can't even do anything like regular people can.

But he wipes his face. That's right...they were still alive, they needed to keep being strong.]

Yeah, we can't give up just yet.

Right!

[He gives Henry the most cheesy thumbs up that there has ever been, injecting optimism into his tone.]

If you keep going, one day you're going to get where you want to go.
