Tale 009: Intel and regains

754 Partridge Drive

[Henry has opened up the mail to find a card and a certain walkie talkie. He flips the card over as it shows a picture of a castle. Blinking, he looks out the window, to see in the back that his castle in the backyard. Not destroyed like Regina had done to it. A smile broadens on his face.] (Locked to house mates)

[Later]

[Henry is waiting for those he called on the phone to show up.] (Opened to all.)

 

Phone [Filtered from the drones and The mayor and the Lucy household] 

[So after the horrors of the Carnival, Henry is on the phone and has filtered this call.]

It's Henry. I made it back from the Carnival thanks to Lucas and I managed to find some stuff out. I'm not going to share it over the phonelines, even if it's filtered it might be too dangerous. So come to 754 Partridge Drive. I'll be in the back yard in my castle.

[Sue looks over the assorted papers and physically recoils at the newspaper clipping.]

Oh, GROSS! Eggs? Ew ew ew ew EW!

...what the heck does this mean? "Suspended animation"? "Reality programming"?

Yeah, so we should really avoid the milk.

But, what those two things mean, I think it's like we're all in a giant computer. Like in Tron.

I knew we weren't supposed to drink the milk that gets delivered to the houses, but!

[OH GOD, the mental image, it makes her skin crawl.]

A computer? Sunny kind of told me about those before, but... I didn't really understand. The only people back home who have access to higher technology is the military... What's Tron?

I know...but lets just be lucky we didn't drink any of it.

[It is creepy, but there's no point worrying over it too much if they hadn't drank it.]

Yeah, a computer. And Tron's a movie, but nevermind about that.

All I can really guess is that we're inside one and someone else is controlling it all. Like the bad guy in the movie.

...I still don't really get it, but we're stuck inside something that lets someone control things, but not control us? I mean, we're supposed to think this is the greatest place ever right, but we don't. Unless we're not really supposed to love it here? Unless we're supposed to fight and try to escape?

Maybe, or maybe the guy just likes to cause suffering....but it's something like that. It's like we're all having the same dream and we're aware of it but we can't do anything to it?
