Medical Team To the Ward

[A. Action - On Site]

[It was here that Date was in his element, treating those who had made it out. People who can walk to the hospital or be driven would be treated there. He continued to set bones, treat burns, bandages, all of it. Even prepare for surgery if need be.]

[B. Action - Hospital]

I need the files for the next few patients. I'll be seeing them, and get a IV for the next couple of them. Oh and someone page Dr. Hubbard that he's going to take a break and go home early; I need his examination rooms.

[Date's been working and it's the second day now of non-stop work. He looks tired, but focused.] Can I get the file for the patients in A-52?

[Henry has just exited the fun house, looking a bit worse for wear but overall nothing critical. All limbs are still attached, face is fine, internals are still all in place, only just a few scratches and stuff here and there. Henry will stumble upon Akira though and look up at him.]

Akira?

Hey. [And he'll drape a recovery blanket across his shoulders and lead him to the tent he's set up.]

Are you okay? Nothing broken?

[Wait, where are they going? Henry follows along until they come to a tent.

He shakes his head at the questions.]

No, I didn't break anything.

[Inside is a bunch of doctor stuff and a portable cot.]

All right. Do you need anything? Water or something? I'm still doing relief for everyone coming through.

Maybe just some water, I'm kind of thirsty.

[He looks up at Akira.]

Did everyone make it back yet?

[He hands him a cup after pouring the water and sighs.]

We're hoping so. It's hard to make a headcount though.

[Taking the cup, it's not long before he downs the whole thing. After all he was running out supplies at the carnival.]

Oh...I see.

[Date didn't want to admit it, but they were probably missing a lot of people. Not everyone who had been reported missing had been found yet.]

We're doing the best we can so far.

I know...I know...

[He's just a little afraid for everyone because...monsters Akira...Monsters.]

[Yeah, things that Akira would usually be able to handle, if he had been there. But he wasn't. He nodded, making a note on a file.]

Did you find anything out?

Yeah I did. But I'm not sure what some of it means. Other than something Lucas helped figure out.

All right. I'll wait for the info once you've finished up with compiling it.

[Riza was at work as usual, but not feeling very helpful. She heard the request for file A-52, and immediately went to get it.]

This is the file you requested, sir. I am not a nurse at home, but I have learned quite a bit while I'm here. Is there anything else I can assist you with?

Ah yes, thanks. I could use rooms B22 through 36 freed up as well for any new patients miss uh...

Hawkeye. But please call me Riza.

I'll clean the rooms as best as I can so that we have space for new patients.

May I ask your name?

Riza then. I'm Dr. Akira Date, you can call me Akira or Date. I'm pretty informal.

Very well, Mr. Date. I suppose I shall be seeing more of you at work.

I'll get those rooms prepared for you.

[And she's off to clean and straighten the rooms as requested. She might not particularly be skilled in medical skills, she's plenty skilled at cleaning up rooms.]
