People who can knock over skyscrapers with a stretch are terrified of the guy so, I guess it does.

Well, you'd think with a reputation like that he wouldn't need some silly name and costume.

Well, most guys in the industry don't do it full time and lead normal lives. I'm guessing the funny name and costume were to hide who he really was so no one would bust down his door while he was asleep in the middle of the day.

Well, that would make more sense. I'm guessing the military, police, and government don't so the best job at keeping crime rates down there if you need people like that.

They do the best they can, but when you have the daughter of a God or some alien that can fart nuclear explosions.... They kind of get overwhelmed.

Its not quite as civil as an actual war a lot of the time.

Outside attackers, yes that would complicate things for some organizations. I guess we do use alchemists in that way sometimes.
