No, I haven't. All I know about frequencies is that communication devices aren't working. This is the first time the phones have worked since we got here.

I don't know, to give us hope before the whole thing collapses on us? To make you guys do something stupid on your end? There are quite a few possibilities.

Hm...what are the least rift-affected areas? Maybe there's some pattern to all of this?

Mostly in the sky. But that's where the Ferris Wheel is, and from what I heard, that's where the rifts got someone.

As in killed them, or produced a fog that killed them. The details were fuzzy, but it happened on the Ferris Wheel.

So that's how people die...Is there any way to block the fog, or does it eat everything period?

I don't know. It can only be reached through riding the Ferris Wheel, but it hasn't killed everyone it has touched. Some people it aged, I've heard.

Okay, so number one, which you already know, should be that the fog shouldn't be touched. That said, does it look like it's expanding? If it is, you need to figure out some place to take shelter, and fast.

The church has been the safest place so far, but with it's high ceilings, I don't think that will hold up more than another day or two. There are houses, but the rats get in them at night.

But, most of us sleep in turns anyway.

What sort of rats? Giant mutant indestructible ones? Teenage Mutant Ninja Mickey Mice?

They're bigger than normal. Nearly opossum size, but quite destructible and edible.

Maybe you should capture some and take them into the Church? Better than starving. Or maybe you guys can pool your rats.

Roasted rat is quite the popular evening meal here. Even breakfast, since they skitter away with the sunrise, the stoves in the houses can be used in the morning and afternoon.

Huh. Then it doesn't sound like that bad of a deal as long as you don't get caught up in the rifts. Tried going back through the funhouse yet?

We've explored it to the best of our abilities.

There were people who got here a day after me and a day before me. I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring.

You want me to ask around to see how many people are gone? If you check to see who's in here and I check to see who's missing, then I think we can figure out how many people arrive tomorrow.

I wouldn't be able to do a headcount until nightfall when most people are in the church. I will try the phones again tomorrow, and maybe we can figure something out then.
