[Sometime during the night, it seems something new has arrived. Nothing threatening this time, though. It seems the carnival has come to town!

Where normally there's only a plain grassy area in the town park, now there are rows and rows of brightly colored and lit stalls, bursting with food and games. All the stalls are manned by drones, though none you've seen around before. Besides that, it looks like there are a few fun looking rides, an exciting show, and a swell funhouse that's sadly boarded up for the time being.

So everything is pretty old and rusty, that just lends it charm. And please don't mind the grime, the strange smells, or the slightly haunting music. Have a sense of adventure, there's nothing off about any of this at all.

Get ready for some good ol' fashioned fun!]

No it couldn't. The bleach would kill the germs and there would be nothing left. Besides, you would want soap and water to clean up most of this place-well and possibly wood polish.

[A part of Arya wishes it still did too. The part that wants to be the little girl she was in Winterfell. But that seems an impossibility now.]

Well of course! If you want to leave an impact, you need things that'll cause the biggest damage! How else is a secret character like me supposed to earn her role as main character?

[She gives him a quick grin and glances back up at the ferris wheel.]

... Though, I hope most people in general avoid that thing.

[She chuckles quietly, but gives him a curious look.]

You're not even a little bit worried about eating something from a mysterious carnival that Mayfield has provided?

[Seriously, he half expects that thing to be crawling with poisonous ants or something.]

[April giggles again and then gives him a nod.]

Okay then! ... Though if you're a superhero, what's your power? [The comics here have taught her that superheroes usually have powers.]

[She takes the glass gratefully and slowly sips at it. The slightly sweet and sour taste overpowers everything else and she quickly takes a few more sips. She doesn't really stop until she's drained nearly half the glass.]

Computer?! You have one of those computer things? [ Slightly distracted. ] And one with horror stories... is there any other sort of information there?

You an' me both. Considerin' that I almost got caught up in the blast an' all. Still say that kid with the tattoo's girlfriend was hell of a lot more subtle blastin' a hole through an open warehouse then whoever that was.

[He gives a small chuckle.]

Hmmm! I'm thinking...half-past never, maybe by the second of get-a-clue. [he scowls.] Who I said I was making anything for you? It was an idea. A good idea, yeah, but JUST an idea!

[ Winry lowers her hands from her mouth. The sick feeling is still there, but she can handle it now. At least for Henry's sake.

She stands up again, taking one last deep breath before smoothing out the wrinkles in her calm facade. ]

Yeah, I'm fine. Just tripped. These 1950s shoes and dresses aren't really my thing. [ She even manages a smile. ] This carnival doesn't really seem like a fun place, huh?

It will be! He will even tell you how Snow White, a princess, is a BAMF.

[He tries to fortune thing again...NOPE, same fortune.]

[He looks at her for a moment.]

[Not that it would've taken much to goad him on that day...and he's been terrible with the apologies for that, considering how many people he was terribly aggressive towards...

He's just crumpling up that fortune now.]

After everything else Mayfield has done, this seems almost...tame. I don't like it.

[She laughs, grabs his hand, and runs onto one of the carriages.]
