[There's a bit of a belated package arriving today for Rarity.  Of course, never having gotten back anything terribly debilitating or depressing yet, she gently unwraps it right away to see what's inside.  A small photograph of her live-in dress shop in Ponyville, Carousel Boutique, floats up out of the package propelled by her magic before disappearing in a flash.  At the same time, behind Rarity, there is now a large circus tent top situated on top of the Kadoya household, forming a new top floor to the structure.  Surprised, she whirls around and silently regards the new addition to the house for a moment before breaking into a smile.]

My goodness, what a generous offering!  I wonder what I did to deserve something like this!

[Action; 7135 Brooks; inside]

[Housemates will notice Rarity busybodying around the house all day long, moving things from the small spare bedroom she's been afforded to sleep and work in up until now and floating them upstairs to the house's new third story.  There's much more space up there, after all, and it's much closer to the sort of lodgings she's used to.  She'll be in and out and back and forth all day, periodically leaving the house to come back with curtains and small pieces of furniture and all sorts of things.]

Oh, so much to do!  Busy busy busy!

[By the time he catches up with her, she's already got half of her stuff moved out of the old room she was using for sewing and up to the new third floor.]

Oh, Tsukasa! Be a dear and grab that clothing horse for me, won't you?

[Tsukasa's mouth opens and closes a bit, then he just gets an angry look on his face before picking up the clothing horse.]

Are you responsible for this?

[He's not a happy person right now, which is odd considering that he's warmed up to most of his housemates by this point.]

If you're referring to our new top floor, then... yes and no. It belongs to me, as I'm certain you've already guessed, but it's not as if I have any control over the things Mayfield chooses to return to me.

[He thinks for a moment, then nods.]

Well, I guess that's right. I wouldn't have gotten back Den-O's card if I'd had a choice.

[He calms down after a moment, then starts to really help her.]

Does this happen often? Getting stuff this large from home?

Given the number of pirate ships and dirigibles in town? Yes, I'd say it does.

I'm mostly wondering about house modifications like this. Like what might happen if the town decided to give me back the Photo studio that I used to live in.

Perhaps a fourth floor? Oh, but that would be so inconvenient...

I doubt that it would fit all that well on top of what's already there, in any case.

[He pauses.]

And I doubt it would feel the same.

Well, perhaps it would simply appear in place of one of the rooms in the house, then.

Maybe. Has it ever just...appeared in a different part of the town? That's what it usually does.

In a different part of town? When has that happened?

Well, when I traveled from world to world, the Hikari Studio would be how we got there. The backdrop would change. This is actually the longest I've been in one place for over a year.

That's rather strange. Why would that be the only consistent feature?

There's a lot about my life that's weird. I don't remember a lot of it...and the stuff that I do, I wish I didn't. I've not always been the nice guy you're talking to now.

It sounds like you've had quite a rough time of it.

[He waves a hand.]

It wasn't easy, but I'm a better person for it. I've got a better reign on my temper these days.

[He looks at the clothes horse.]

Where did you want this again?

[prissy_hooves]

Oh, follow me.

[She'll lead him upstairs.]
