The most important thing to do in times like this is to stay calm. There is usually little long term affect to such happenings so there's no reason to be overly worked up. But in light of everything I will offer those unable to defend themselves or find suitable safe ground, my own residence. It should be safe enough from all danger and the infected will be kept away.

That's very kind of you. Though the timing is strange, I'm glad to be hearing your voice again. I'd ask if you were well, but in such circumstances I suppose that is a question best left for another time.

Personally I am rather well actually. Things like this effect me very little.

Being here has been difficult to get used to, I will agree to that. But these instances where everything is thrown into chaos is usually easy enough to avoid.

A little over a year, so not very long, but long to many.

An entire year... oh my. I hope that I will not be here quite as long...

Staying calm is very wise. They don't seem to be any stronger than whomever they were prior to becoming like this. [ A pause. ] Not that I have stepped outside, but they have also not stepped inside.

That is fortunate, but the further this spreads the more likely they will become more dangerous. There are individuals here I would rather not see lose their minds like this.

I understand that there are people here who are exceptionally powerful. The best advice I can offer is that people remain in their homes behind locked doors.

There are, and I agree with that sentiment greatly. But it seems more often than not what can happen will happen, and happen with a vengeance.

Helping the ones who actually need it? Why not do the smart thing and help them die faster instead of "saving" them? They'll pop right back up tomorrow or a few days later, so it's really not a loss here.

I am not going to kill anyone, it is against my principles.

It's the much easier option; it's quick, easy and even comes with a name: it's euthanasia, sweetheart. You should probably learn it now while it'll still be useful.

I refuse to endorse such an action, and any who does decide to enact such a measure I will personally deal with. None of these people deserve to die when it could be prevented.

"Deserve?"Let me tell you something about "deserving" a fate: if no one deserved to suffer, they wouldn't be allowed to feel. If no one deserved to be betrayed, they wouldn't need to socialize. If no one really deserved to die, they wouldn't be alive in the first place. Let's be honest here: if no one really deserved any of these things, would they really even be here?
