[The funny thing about being the Chosen One is there isn't a rulebook for it. Everyone's awfully keen on what you're supposed to do by not so hot on how. And even if no one has said he's supposed to fix this, it would just figure that it's expected.

So he's flinging futile spells the place where the town wraps around. They aren't working. They never do.]

Yes, several people here have displayed strange homicidal urges. I've seen people threatening to raze the town to the ground or to hunt down and kill their friends and neighbors.

Everything up to the end of fourth year. Of course, we learned the most in our OWL year...

You will have to be more specific than that. What did "fourth year" consist of? Alchemy? Spiritual surgery?

I'm rubbish at potions. I can manage some transfigurations... small things, mostly. Decent enough with charms, and I had to learn defense with everything that happened.

Mostly... we do learn things like fending off werewolves though.

I'm not sure how much of a help it would be against the other occupants. Most of them are physical fighters.
