Not dying is in fact lousy criteria for being the Chosen One
[Action: Edge of town]
[The funny thing about being the Chosen One is there isn't a rulebook for it. Everyone's awfully keen on what you're supposed to do by not so hot on how. And even if no one has said he's supposed to fix this, it would just figure that it's expected.
So he's flinging futile spells the place where the town wraps around. They aren't working. They never do.]
Not that either...
[Action: In front of 1486 Kramden]
[Neville is quite intensely tending to his garden. At least plants make sense.]
((So Neville is from an AU where he was The Boy Who Lived. He was still raised in the wizarding world so... no pressure or anything!))

action: edge of town?
[That voice would be from a young man half-hiding behind some bushes. He's dressed in far more leaves and flowers than clothes and has bright colors painted over his skin in...well, a childish-looking attempt at warpaint.]

Uh... hello?

Hi! What are you doing? And don't stand out there! The adults might see.
[Yeah. He hasn't grasped the irony of his own apparent age. Either that or is willfully ignoring it.]

[Neville just gives him a puzzled look. The adults have clearly seen.]

[He sounds very sure of himself.]

[He makes a disgusted face.]
They're so gross with all the things they do! So I don't do the adult things!

[He sounds very convinced of this.]
You need a title and quadrants and all those things.
