1 ✿ Beulah Street
[The longer she stays in this place the more she misses the casual day of day of home. Maybe she wasn’t the princess of Mayfield, yet, but that didn’t mean she had to cease with her whims and desires. It just meant she had to fulfill them herself.
First things first, the garden was in no state the way it was. It wasn’t particularly bad per se, just overwhelmingly average. Today she’s skipping work, trying to mow the lawn and plant some more aesthetically pleasing flowers. Gardening is hard work though and Yuyuko can’t really be bothered. Instead she leans against the fence, stopping anyone who might be passing by]
You seem in good spirits, would you like to do some work for me?

Good afternoon, Mayfield!
[Yuyuko isn’t exactly used to using phones. She’s talking quite loudly, making sure everyone can hear her]
Due to your unfortunate lack of cherry blossoms for a flower viewing I’ve decided to host a garden party to make up for your missing spring-time celebrations.
Of course it wouldn’t be complete without music. If you know anyone who is available to perform, or you happened to be musically inclined yourself then I would love for you to entertain our guests.
If you know anyone who is able to perform but doesn’t want to, please pester them until they give in.

[. . . how do you go from 2 dollars an hour to 75 dollars, Holland. . . He'll ponder a bit more.]
And some sandwiches.
no subject
...
I didn't even specify the job I wanted you to do.
[She thinks it over for a few moments]
Alright, but that covers the gardening from now until I leave this place. If I need you to do anything else in the future that should pay for it too.
I would, however be willing to make you more sandwiches.

[Huff. He's an expert gardener, after all. Flowers deserve to be planted.]
[And he'll shake his head once, looking serious.]
I can't run a business that way. A contract would be much more than 75 dollars.
no subject
Hmm... but I guess if you're in the business you would do a good job.
[She gives a sigh]
Fine, I guess it can't be helped. I retract my offer of sandwiches though.

[He'll lean his bike against his hip, crossing his arms.]
I'll give you half off if I can advertise.
no subject
That seems fair. What would advertising entail?
/backtags?
Just to show who planted it.

I can remove it if it becomes too unsightly, can't I?
