B. In the park, by the fountain, making a paper boat armada. One of them seems to be on fire as it sails the seas of the fountain.

C. Sitting on the grass in the park. A black cat is sleeping next to her and she's throwing  a ball for a dog to retrieve.]

[A few seconds later, the knob twists and the door opens. Slugger answers with a nod of his head and a quick glance behind Ai as if expecting to see someone watching from behind her.]

Ai, come in. [He steps aside holding the door open.]

[She'll walk in, briefly looking over her shoulder to see if there was someone there. Before turning back to look at him.]

[There's nothing out there but a few errant red spider lilies. Closing the door, Slugger turns to her and soon forgets about the Major and his spies.]

[Silent, he stares at her all of three seconds before the stupid smile returns tenfold to his face. Really, it should be no surprise since he figured they would go together anyway, but to hear her ask like that... it's just... she's so cute he doesn't know how to handle it.]
