[The past couple of days for Simba hasn't been all that great. As of yesterday, the last member of his previous household was finally droned, and that meant being tossed into the backyard by his drone family.

After reluctantly falling asleep outside, he wakes up the next day having been retied to the doghouse without knowing he's been relocated to a new house. He can't seem to get the rope off from around his neck, so outside of 1338 Benny Road there's a lion cub roaring and trying to get loose.

Oh and be careful of that brightly colored tree that's popped up in the front yard.]

Looks at the Doctor who just came out of that house over there.

In Mayfield, yes. Generally it's a little more complicated.

[And he's sitting down in the grass next to Simba, ignoring that his boxers are getting wet from the dew.]

Which then brings us to why you're in front of my house in Mayfield.

...I dunno why I'm here. Last time I checked I lived someplace else, or at least I thought I did.

[Until the drone family kicked him out anyway.]

But if you're here, this is where you're meant to be. It's a pretty fun place to be, if I do say so myself.

[It's still kind of sad to see the previous members of his family droned, but...

[Well he doesn't recognize this girl being part of his old house, but he'll still call out to her anyway.]

[ Awwww, he looks a little scared! Jade scurries over, crouching cautiously beside him. ]

[But that's not all the pets! While Simba's still struggling with his leash, a couple of pink monkeys from the new tree in the yard will be running up to Karkat, chattering happily.]
