[ Jade's been feeling a little... strange, lately, like there's some little itch that can't be scratched. An itch that might be right behind one of her ears, maybe...

The past few nights have had her tossing and turning, and it seems the last night has her sleepwalking, because when you wake up you'll find her curled up at the foot of your bed, fast asleep.

Not like a dog don't even say it. ]

[ afternoon ; the park ]

[ Jade's all bundled up against the chilly winter weather, head to toe, save for a lack of hat, leaving her ears twitching in the wind. She's gripping a tennis ball in one hand, bouncing it against the ground, but not paying too much attention to it. Her eyes are elsewhere, glancing around and making sure no one is watching.

When she thinks the coast is clear, she sends the ball flying away from her, and is quick to scamper after it. ]

[ early evening ; grocery store ]

[ Jade is in the pet food aisle, eyeing up a bag of dog food on the top shelf. When she spots you, especially if you are taller than her (which is very likely), she waves to get your attention. ]

Hi, could you help me with something?

[Pokey'd been coming to the park more often. He didn't know why. He had no real affinity for nature back home, and no concern at all until now. In part, it reminded him of the time he had had with friends, now gone, in the park. As weird as it still was to imagine having friends.

He sees that Jade. He totally sees that. And just smirks.]

[ Jade makes some sort of noise at that, and it sounds a little too much like a growl, though she remains asleep. ]

[ Jade skids to a halt, the tennis ball rolling away before finally slowing to a halt in the grass. ]

Dave! Um, what are you doing here?

[ Clearly she should have checked the trees. ]

[Why was a blind kid wandering around the store looking for groceries you ask? Why, he was out getting himself something new he hasn't tried yet. He was tired of the school lunches, the fast food, the bread and milk. Though, not being able to see what you were getting was a bit of a problem. He had walked down the pet food isle with a basket of who knows what when he hears Jade's voice. He walks over to her.]

[ well motherfucking shit.

She turns sharply on her heel, towards his voice, glaring daggers. ]

I just dropped it.

[:| trying to stretch out, hitting her with his feet. Jaaaade, he's tall and needs his space.]

Jade smiles, reaching up to brush her fingers of her ears, tugging at them slightly. ]

I regained them a little while ago.

Excuse him a minute as he dashes towards it to try and pick it up, waving it if he gets it.]

[ She's a bit surprised to see him, it feels like it's been ages. But something seems different..... Good thing he won't notice how hard she's staring at him right now. ]

[Ozma's just teleported through the fabric of realities and into the park, The Magic Belt tight round her waist, when Jade throws her own ball, and then chases after it. Her own scene is probably just as weird as Jades, but she stands back and claps regardless.]

[ She stiffens as he runs for the tennis ball, setting her face in a hard look of determination. No way no way no way. ]

Well it is mine, so you can just give it back to me.

[He shrugs a bit and smirks, tossing the ball up and down in one hand.]

I mean you might as well give it to someone who'll play with it, right?

[groans. sleep is needed jade and you are making that hard.

[ She's managed to get a hold of it before it stopped moving, grasping it happily between her hands. Ozma's voice startles her, and she looks pretty embarrassed as she turns to face her. ]
