(After all of that mess with pranks, Kreutzer felt very proud of herself and the fun she was able to have with it. Mayfield seemed proud of what she was able to accomplish as well since she found an envelope addressed to her when she returned home. Upon opening it, she found a picture of eight very familiar dolls; dolls she's no doubt made before...)

Action: The General Store

(Anyone doing some grocery shopping today may notice a group of flying dolls roaming about the store. No one seems to be watching over them and one of them is carrying a hand-written list of things that needed to be purchased. They're strong enough to carry the grocery baskets on their own, even the gallons of milk! Should you bump into them, you either see them going about what they're looking for...or arguing amongst themselves. And yes, they all have voices on their own, so you may think it's a group of people going around!)

(Yup, the dolls are all here, too! Anyone dropping by can expect the same shenanigans as they caused in the supermarket...except there are a lot more sharp things here. Why is that one holding an exhaust pipe...? And another sporting garden shears?! Who knows what they might be up to!)

Action: Outside 2239 Stevens

(The garage door is wide open and anyone passing by will see Kreutzer working on...something. It appears to be mechanical, but since it's still far from complete, there's no way to tell what it is...unless you ask her. Will it be curiosity that makes you step up? Or are you there to complain about the noise? Or maybe there's something about all of the dolls that are flying around the house that makes you want to ask exactly what's going on? The choice is up to you!)

[Kreutzer's working on some mechanical monstrosity? Oh, that is not what Hajime wanted to see when he came home from his daily "I need to get out of this house" stroll. He could hear the noise at the other end of the street, and he's not that happy to see it's all been coming from his house.]

...what do you think you're doing?

[Building something else she can use to try to blow him up, probably, but he figured he might as well ask.]

(Oh look, one of the dolls recognizes you, too!)

Hi! We're going shopping for Kreutzer!

(Hajime will find that he's suddenly approached by a doll...though there's something different about this one. She's certainly not as perky as some of the others; cute, but devoid of any real personality. She even speaks in a flat tone.)

Kreutzer is working on one of her most recent projects. She's just finished laying down the framework and is still putting it all together.

[He's a bit irritated that she hasn't spoken to him directly and is using the dolls to interact, but at least this one isn't as relentlessly perky as some of the others. Monotone's easy enough to deal with, and he's long since given up trying to avoid speaking to the dolls. There's just too many of them around at all times. Still, his own tone sounds a tad irritated.]

And what might that project be?

(Returning that tons with her own, entirely flat one. Never any emotion from her.)

Something correlated to her most recent regain: enough of her power to develop mid-level and high-level creations. It is but a single part of her preparations; the first step of her plan, a plan she wishes to begin in the coming weeks.

Excellent. I've been working sleeplessly on a project just for you and now that I've finished, I'd just love to present it to you. Can you meet me at the park in 20 minutes?

[Kreutzer has a plan? Oh, this will end well. So well. He's resisting the urge to run off and hide somewhere, transform into Chalice, and rush in there to smash things up on principle. Still, it might do well to figure out what he'll be smashing first, as he wouldn't put it past her to have hidden a bomb in there somewhere.]

Kreutzer. Talk to me yourself. What plan? What could you possibly need...whatever this is for?

(Sorry, Hajime; it's not that she doesn't want to talk to you right now [which she kind of doesn't, anyway], but she's just very caught up in her work. When she's caught up in her work, she can drown out the outside world. You might need to get louder or tap her shoulder...or submit and talk to her dolls. Your choice.)

Kreutzer? So that's her name! I was wondering. It's very nice of you to help her with her shopping though!

KREUTZER! HEY, KREUTZER!

[He's yelling now. Kreutzer, if you don't give him a proper conversation, he's going to transform into Chalice and THEN things are going to get interesting...

Hajime now has his hands in his pockets, which may look like unusually relaxed body language for the way he's yelling at you. He's actually reaching for his Rouse Cards, because he's getting a bit vexed.]

Yup! She asked us to take care of it while she gets started on her super secret project! She says it's going to be fun!

(Always yelling at her. She has no idea how your shouting can easily rip her attention away like that, but it does. Calmly, she responds...)

Put away the card; I can hear you.

(Turns to face him.)

[The mechanical tinkering seems to have gotten the neighbour's attention]

What are you working on there?

[Hey, maybe he wouldn't have to shout so much if you were a better listener. And now he's doubly irritated because she really shouldn't know what he can do with the card he'd pulled...he slides the Category Ace back into his pocket, although he doesn't remove his hand from it.]

What is all this? The doll said you were planning something. I need to know what.

(Kreutzer isn't too into her fantasy zone to drown out Sarah, so politely, she'll answer the question.)

Currently, I'm pulling my most recent epiphany into reality. The most recent regain has allowed me to finally put this plan into action and last night, I figured out exactly how to start it.

(She doesn't mean to be vague; she's providing an intro of sorts and leaving room for questions.)

(To Hajime's benefit, she hasn't figured out why the card's so important to him; all she knows is that it's important to him.)

It wouldn't be any fun if I told you exactly what I'm doing, so I'll give you a hint:

I'm currently expanding on what I can create here in Mayfield.

[Of course she's not being very forthcoming with it. He wonders if it would be too convenient if he left and Chalice showed up five minutes later. Probably. She probably knew anyway, but that didn't mean he had to be all obvious about it...he's got his arms crossed now. Not touching the cards, nope.]

More bombs? You're manufacturing things?

[Wary eye on those dolls. They're all little floating bombs to him, and he's still kicking himself for being stupid enough to try to punch one that time...]

I suppose you could say that....there are a lot of interesting people in this town, aren't there?

(A not-so obvious hint there, but it's a hint...sort of. Seriously man, who punches a bomb?)

[He can't help it, punching and kicking is about all he can do as Chalice right now...and old habits die really hard. He's used to punching the snot out of his enemies.]

So you're setting up a munitions plant in the garage. Just so we're clear.

[He has an idea of what she might be getting at, but then again, who knows with her?]

Actually, no; I've salvaged the basic materials from the utilities and tools from this town. It's embarrassingly terrible...

However, I did regain a considerable portion of my power: enough to fuel mid-level and high-level creations. For example...Platina!

(She calls for one of the dolls flying around her home; this one flies before the two. She's a doll, but her behavior and look is incredibly lifelike.)

[Good thing Fang's too stupid brave to care about these animated dolls holding dangerous things. With that, she'll observe them for a few moments, trying to figure out just what they're trying to do before giving in and approaching them curiously.]
