I've decided that the Church is too complacent. You are well within your rights to consider me a rogue member but I think people have acted too freely for far too long.

People will act as they choose when confined to a realm they don't wish to live in. Is that to say you'll punish everyone in Mayfield or just those that go against your church?

I will act against those whose actions will cause harm to others. And yes, those with best of intentions are the ones who fall prey to this most.

You may see Hajime, myself and my dolls as threats, but we're just getting by. I only attack those who attack first.

My word is equal to Ciel's. Probably worth more since my experience for outweighs her.

But no, even I can't be everywhere. Coincidences can happen, however.

I already said I can't be everywhere at once. You should learn to parse sentences better than that.

Hardly. Ciel would never waste the time. And I'm not exactly the shining example of a Christian.

As for heresy....we'll see.

So there's still the matter of consideration. Perhaps I'll make it easy for you: I can be a formidable threat if the situation calls for it. I know better than attacking innocent people; I will not take betrayal light and I will not hesitate or hold back if my life or my freedoms are in danger.

If my knowledge of universal science and alchemy make me an enemy to your church, then so be it; as I recall, Christianity doesn't take lightly ideas that go against their so-called God.

Your 'freedoms'. An ironic statement considering the country we're supposedly in. Regardless, threats do nothing but interest me. Very rarely is someone out there capable of harming me in any form, much less killing me. What charmed life I live.

As for heretical things, the Church is and has been fully capable of working with alchemists. I seem to remember a failed expedition not too long ago....

This country did not exist in the time frame of my origins, so it means nothing to me.

So the church has an immortal amongst their ranks...far from the shining example indeed.

As for your church, I refuse to work with those that wish to label me a threat and then suggest I be supervised should I unnecessarily lash out at others.

The Church is willing to work with anyone that will work with them. That goes for you. It's easier to be a friend by far. Why, I am even willing to write favorable terms and conditions.

Don't think of it as bad. The Church did the same with me.

I suppose Christianity is the same across space and time. You choose to accept their terms, but understand that I will not.

You're drawing conclusions again. I just said it's far more favorable to work with the Church than against it.

There are those who exist outside the realm of the Church, however, that seek to end such things with violent force. Right here in Mayfield.

I choose to say outside the realm of your church, but will not act against your church if you will not act against me. A neutral force, if you will.
