[So, ever since Squid Girl got a new set of role models who happen to be gangsters, she's been behaving more and more erratically and irresponsibly.  And since she's also alienated herself from the only non-drone in her house, there's no one to prevent her from doing incredibly stupid things.  It was really kind of inevitable that eventually she'd end up hurting herself.

And from the looks of things on outside 462 Stone Street, that's exactly what happened today.  Passersby will notice Squid Girl collapsed on her knees on the front lawn, crying hysterically and covering one of her eyes with her hands.  There's also a BB gun lying nearby.  It's probably not too hard to figure out what happened here.]

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!  My eye!  My eye!  It hurts, it hurts!

Yes they do! I've had them both before; it's good!

[She wobbles up to her feet, dragging herself toward the front door.]

Thank you. I'm Chen!

(And Chen's playing the role of a crutch to help her get back inside. She's certainly not strong, but she's a kitty! Kitties always help emotionally!)

I'm Squid Girl.

[Yeah, she'll lean on her to get in, just a little.]

(Totally helping her in the house and to the kitchen. She gets some ice cubes from the freezer and keeps them wrapped in a rag, offering it to Squid Girl.)

Here! Put this on your eye!

Right. Okay.

[Squid Girl takes her hand from her eye, pressing the rag to it instead.]

(And Chen returns to digging through the freezer on a noble quest for frozen vegetables.)

Do you have any shrimp and vegetables? I can't find any...

[She makes sure there's always shrimp in the house, so there should at least be plenty of that.]

I don't know about vegetables...

[spinningorange]

(Yup, she found shrimp! Vegetables...nothing yet.)

I'll get some from home! I'll be right back!

(Chen flies an open window!

Minutes later, she returns with a few bags of frozen vegetables.)

Fresh vegetables are always better, but we still have these!

So I should put those on my face too?

Nope; the ice will be enough. This is to cook with the shrimp!

Oh, okay.

[She stands back and waits for Chen to start cooking, apparently having no designs on being helpful.]

(That's okay; Chen learned from watching her master cook, so she has it all figured out!

--THEN COOKING HAPPENS--

And afterwards, Chen manages a decent looking meal with shrimp and vegetables! She's very much proud of herself for not burning anything.)

It smells really good...

And it's ready, too!

(She's serving it out and makes sure to give Squid Girl extra.)

Make sure to eat up so your eye can get better faster!

[Don't gotta tell her twice. And there's shrimp in it, so she digs right in.]

(And so does Chen. Hooray for happy dinner times!)
