[So, ever since Squid Girl got a new set of role models who happen to be gangsters, she's been behaving more and more erratically and irresponsibly.  And since she's also alienated herself from the only non-drone in her house, there's no one to prevent her from doing incredibly stupid things.  It was really kind of inevitable that eventually she'd end up hurting herself.

And from the looks of things on outside 462 Stone Street, that's exactly what happened today.  Passersby will notice Squid Girl collapsed on her knees on the front lawn, crying hysterically and covering one of her eyes with her hands.  There's also a BB gun lying nearby.  It's probably not too hard to figure out what happened here.]

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...!  My eye!  My eye!  It hurts, it hurts!

[Garrus looks at the gun, then to the crying girl. Having a fair amount with experience with both (though his crying girl's tend to be somewhat hap.. y'know what, never mind about that part), he figures out pretty swiftly what just went down here.]

You shot yourself didn't you?

I've seen enough people shot to know what it looks like. You really think you can take over the world if you can't take a bullet to the face? I took about ten of them to mine and I was just trying to save it. Gonna be a lot more coming at you from the other direction.

[Garrus crosses his arms.]

I'll just sit here and watch. Make sure no one steals your weapon while you hit the medic and get patched up.

But I don't want to go to Mayfield's hospital! It's full of drones and creepy people!

[Garrus's tone gets serious.]

Why would you go to the enemy's hospital? You think they are gonna treat you? You march on inside and fix yourself up, then get back out her ready to fight again.

Well who is your medic? Don't tell me you were going to try and conquer the earth without a doctor on your side.

All the doctors in this town are crazy murderers!

[Oh, well that's good to know. Garrus looks shocked for a moment before going back into cool guy mode.]

Well, I guess you had better learn to patch up yourself then.

Okay. Where do we keep band-aids?

In the bathroom, above the sink. The combination is 12-45-6. I had the lock it because the drone woman kept trying to stock the thing with aftershave and other useless crap.

[Squid Girl shoots him an odd sort of look before stumbling off to the bathroom, coming back with half her head clumsily wrapped up in bandages soaked in antiseptic.]

Well, they're on your head. I guess that's a start. C'mere.

[Garrus motions to Squid girl.]

[She still doesn't seem entirely thrilled with it, but she silently walks over to Garrus.]

[Garrus will start messing with the bandages, removing any that aren't necessary, and then tightening the one around her eye.]

You need to remember to keep this tight on the wound so you don't lose too much bl... uh.. whatever this is...

It's blood. Haven't you ever seen blood before?

[Except hers is blue, being a squid and all.]

I've seen way more blood that I would have liked. It's usually a bit darker blue or red.

[He finished tightening up the bandage, so that it firmly wraps around only Squid girl's eye.]

There, that should do it. Now I think you're ready for battle again.

[He picks up the gun and holds it back out to her.]

[She looks from the gun to Garrus and back to the gun again.]

So you're gonna show me how to use this?

Sure. Can't conquer the world if you can use one. Definitely can't if you can't use it without hurting yourself.

Awesome! When do we start?

[She seems to have forgotten all about the pain.]

[Garrus smiles and hands her the gun.]

[He points to the neighbor's mailbox.]

Think you can hit that? Make sure to hold the gun on your shoulder and look down the barrel, but keep your eye a few inches away from the back to the gun.
