A. Phone: [He clears his throat before making his call.] Hello~ I must say, this is quite the interesting town. I can't quite decide on what to make of it just yet... This will take some time. Ah, listen to me ramble on... hopefully those that I'm looking for will recognize my voice and tell me that they're alright.

[He blinked once, and then twice. Now that attitude wasn't at all familiar. Finally, he uncrossed his arms and gave a single slow clap.]

My, such a pleasant greeting. Now is that any way to treat an old comrade?

[My goodness, what was Johnny going on about?]

[Huh? What was this guy going on about?] Comrade...? [The boy's scowl deepens- there was a sort of brattiness to it.] Who the hell are you? Never met anyone that looked like you in my life!

[He gripped his flagpole a little tighter, almost aggressive. There was one explanation he could think of that came to mind, but he didn't want to think about that one. It pissed him off just at the possibility.]

No? Never?

[He was only... a little confused at such a statement. Perhaps it was best that he cleared up the situation.]

You... are Ky Kiske, are you not?

[That makes Sin bristle in a way no other thing quite can. He's immediately in the other man's face, half-sneering, half-growling.]

Wrong.

[Of course it had to be him. It was always about him.] So who the hell're you, huh? Another old Order jerk that likes to kiss the ground he worships, or is it another asshole from the police force this time?

[When his personal space was so rudely taken up by this hot headed youth, Johnny held his ground. Go ahead and look menacing all you want, kid, it only caused the other to smirk in amusement.]

Now why would I go and do a foolish thing like that? Aren't you giving the fellow a little too much credit?... ... and to have myself as a member of the police force is rather laughable. Introductions are in order, then? ... or were you planning on swinging about your pole in a hap-hazardous manner in hopes of striking me down?

...Wouldn't have to try. [His sneer continues, but he backs off in favor of grabbing another plate- although this one doesn't make it very far, vaporized by a sudden crackle of red lightning from the youth's hand.]

[At least it seemed like this guy wasn't entirely a fan of Ky either, perhaps, but now he wasn't sure. What was his deal?]

Technically, I'm not supposed to tell you who I am, but maybe I will. Just to spite him. The hell're you?

[Johnny gave a low whistle, clearly he was finally impressed. Somewhat. Arms folded across his chest once again as he offered this brash fellow an introduction.]

Hm. Now how can it be, that you've never heard of me? The name is Johnny, Captain of the Jellyfish Pirates... Hm. With that out of the way, might I be so bold as to ask why is it you bear such a striking resemblance to our dear friend, Ky?

[A slight tug of a smile pulled at his lips.]

You're Johnny?

[Sin's lip curls in a particularly disbelieving manner, giving the captain a good look-over.] ...You don't look so tough. Not nearly so great as mother always made you out to be....

[..Speaking of which... Johnny gets shot a glare for beating around the obvious bush, but he doesn't come out and answer. Yet.]

[Johnny was looking a bit confused now.]

Are you suggesting that I appear weak? My dear boy, I assure you that --

[Yeah, now he's really confused. Good job.]

"Mother"? ... Hm... "Mother"...

Yeah, maybe. What're you gonna do? [He allows a brief, jerkish grin. Yup, sure did suck for Johnny that he hadn't gotten his abilities and weapon with him yet- since Sol arrived powerless, Sin had fully figured this out (to his advantage, of course).]

Said you were the strongest fighter on the ship, and to be stronger than her even you better be freakin' amazing! But you look pretty shrimpy to me.

[His smirk deepens.] ..What, you've forgotten your own crewmembers so fast? You're a pretty crappy captain, huh........... You took her in after the bounty on her was lifted, didn't you?

[At first... he was becoming a little irked with how this nameless youth started throwing out the very idea that he, Johnny, was ... shrimpy. Poor guy, he didn't know about the lack of his abilities in this town. No one told him that part!]

[... his slightly grouchy attitude was quickly replaced by question. Why, he would never forget his crew members! Though he had said "Mother"... and no one on his ship was old enough to be...]

[... wait. No one else had bounties on their heads other than... He blinked, and an eyebrow twitched.]

My, I didn't think of you to be one to have such a sense of humor! I must say, the likeness is rather amazing to him, but to think that one of the crew members is your mother?

[Sin stares back at Johnny for a moment, himself a bit nonplused by this reaction... He cocks a confused brow.] Yeah, at least.. she said she was. Mother doesn't lie!

[Somebody sounds defensive.]

And shut up. I'm not like him.

Hm. Then who are you?

[He'll go back to the mother thing in a bit. There's a nameless fellow standing in front of him at the moment.]

..The name's Sin.

[Boy that Kiske sure has a knack for names don't he.]

Sin?

[He can only grin in amusement. Still, he has yet to put the math together...]

Let's humor me for a moment then, shall we? You look similar to Ky, bear some interesting and familiar attacks... and yet, you're not him?

[Sin bristles at the needling] Yeah, yeah, you're not clever you know!

[He spits to the side.] And that guy's no father to me no matter what the record might say, so you can drop that smirk of yours 'fore I wipe it off into the ground.

[Nope, he's still going to be grinning.]

What an interesting development.

Why, I only met with Ky the other day before arriving here, and here you're telling me he's your father...

[The clearly quick-to-anger youth bristles further, taking an intimidating step forward. He was nearly crackling with static, almost as a warning.] And what of it? Don't see what's so goddamn funny.

[He simply stands there. Your bluff doesn't fool him.]

The way you're acting is clearly not how the fellow would raise his son.

Didn't say he raised me.

[The way his lip curls, this surly, unfriendly behavior.... It almost might remind you of some other unpleasant fellow :|||]

He wouldn't raise his own son? I suppose that might explain the outlandish behavior... however, it hardly sounds like the man I know.

[The gears in his head are turning.]

'course not. Like he'd be seen with me or mother, he's too ashamed of us to dare be seen with either! We're just weapons to keep locked up, after all. His precious politics are all that matter to him. [He's practically seething at this point, almost bending the flagpole in his grip out of anger.]

[But wait, he said weapons just now, didn't he? Now why would that be. 8|a]
