[Why hello there, Mayfield. Have you suddenly found yourself hit by that slime from that one delightfully hilarious classic movie? Are you feeling a little bit irritable today? Picking fights, snapping at your loved ones, and generally just being dicks to one another?

Well, don't worry! Arcueid's here!.......to make it worse. You may be stomping around town looking for a fight, or just generally irritable, or maybe even not affected at all. But, if you are anywhere near paved streets, you may bear witness to an odd sight.

Thanks to one certain Golden superhero, who honestly knew NOT what he did, Arcueid has been introduced to her new favorite "sport." This "sport," happens to be CART RACING! That's right, Arcueid has stolen a shopping cart from the store, finding areas with a high incline, and practicing her racing prowess on the streets.

So, as you travel through town, you may suddenly be passed by a fast-moving blur of blond, white and silver. She may almost hit you, she may fly by just laughing loudly, or she might even HIT YOU. Hey, these things aren't easy to control from inside. Hopefully anyone she mows over ends up being people who can take a hit from a shopping cart loaded with a vampire at what must be a good 20 to 30 miles per hour. Feel free to react however you please, or even pick a fight!]

[John Doe Park | Evening]

[There's a mangled, discarded cart laying in the grass near a blonde woman in white also laying on her back in the grass. Her limbs are stretched out, and she appears to just be staring at the sky. That's really it. It's hard to tell whether she's alive or dead from a distance.]

[Okay, okay Arcueid doesn't want to torture Marisa or anything, so she'll finally stop and let her go to fall wherever she might.]

I still don't get it, but at least I got revenge.

Torture's not cool, though. You shouldn't torture people.

[She's back to just laying on the grass and staring at the night sky again.]

Okay then. Teasing, not torture. It's harmless, ze.

It sure felt like torture.

That's not something that should even exist.

You're just saying that now, but think of the surprise attacks you can get others with.

I wonder if Ciel is ticklish...

[Oh she totally didn't mean to say that out loud but eh, the implications of possible surprise attack are great.]

[The witch gives a conspiring grin.]

There's ghosts?

[She doesn't seem phased by this at all.]

[Marisa points to a single ghost flying over the park.]

They've been popping up the last hour or so.

[tsukihime]

[Arcueid watches with a look of mild surprise. Interesting.]

But why would there be ghosts here? That's kind of weird.

[adropofjupiter]

I dunno, ze. As long as flowers don't start springing up everywhere, like worse than over Valentine's Day, I think we'll be okay.

[tsukihime]

Oh, yea...that day. [Arc shudders inwardly.]

As long as that never happens again everything will be perfectly fine.

Makes me glad I wasn't affected by the crap that happened that day. Best time to be sick, ze.

I wasn't either...but I'd have rather been if I could have traded out with Merem.

I didn't really need to know that.

[TIME FOR AN ABRUPT SUBJECT CHANGE.]

So are you just watching ghosts, or catching ghosts?

[Because Arcueid saw a movie about catching ghosts, once.]

Just watching 'em, ze. I can't catch 'em. I can beat them up, but I don't feel like it.

[tsukihime]

...It'd probably be funny to see someone beat up a ghost, though.

[Arcueid has a kind of hilarious image in her head right now...one of Marisa chasing ghosts on her broom and punching them into submission.]

Not really...

[Marisa points her finger in a gun-like manner at a ghost fairly far away from them. A cluster of green lasers shoot from her finger to arc out and then converge on the ghost.

It pops with a wail.]

[tsukihime]

[Arcueid chuckles a bit, but then a thoughtful expression passes over her face.]

I know we're in Mayfield and everything...but I wonder if people should be popping ghosts.

Since it's Mayfield they're probably not real spirits, though.

Nah. I ain't an exorcist, so the ghost is fine. See?

[And look! The ghost has reformed and looks very confused... for a ghost.]
