[Just another day at school for Ako, and she's working on a project. It seems like nonsense but she's working on home ec stuff at the moment. You'd think a kid of her age wouldn't know much about it, but she's sewing stuff right now, working with thread and needle.]


2. [Anywhere]

[Ako's out for a walk, humming to herself as she wanders around town. She wants to get a feel for the area in her civilian form, instead of hiding out as Muse. Dodory is hiding in her jacket as well.]

I just don't want to be outside when it gets dark, that's all. I starts pretty early in the winter.

All right, we'll head back to the house. It shouldn't be too hard to get back since the sun is beginning to set.

I worry about getting lost in town, but you've been here longer than me so you probably know the way.

I've gotten to know a bit of the town. After a while it gets easier to navigate. [Leads towards the right area of town.]

I always see you leaving for school in the mornings but I never see you at school. I thought you said they'd drone people who didn't go.

[He doesn't seem to realise that they probably go to different schools because of the age gap]

I- I mean you're so well spoken, I thought you were just short!

S-sorry, I mean... uh, take it as a compliment. I know twelve year-olds who are less mature than you are.

You're lucky, most people just think I'm eleven or twelve because I'm so short. It gets really frustrating sometimes...

I find age irrelevant to being well spoken and polite, and even if you're small it doesn't worry me.
