Fifty Fifth Summons: Finding her own amusement

 [It's spring...almost. But it's starting to get nice so Ai can be found.

A. Outside her house sitting on the staircases, surrounded by paper cranes. She's making another, while a cat is sneaking up on one to the left of her ready to jump on one of them.

B. Are you walking down the street? Do you feel like you're being watched? That would be the small girl sitting on the telephone pole watching you walk by.

C. In the park. Jumping in puddles. Doesn't seem to be paying attention to people walking by. Hope she didn't just splash you....]

[Wanyudo comes by to check on Ai. Enjoying the walk in general.

He spots her as he comes up the side walk.]

[At the same moment, Slugger is also coming to visit Ai and manifests on the sidewalk before her house. Immediately, he spots the older gentleman approaching as if to visit her as well. Slugger doesn't notice it right away, but after a second glance, he realizes that the man is somehow familiar.

Slightly confused, Slugger pauses to nod in greeting.]

[Such is her job. She looks down impassively for a moment before holding up a hand and waving slightly.]

[It was a habit, maybe from his constant patrols at home, to be pretty aware of his surroundings. That's why, as he's jogging across the street, he'll slow down a bit.

. . . and a bit more.

Eventually he'll stop across the street from the phone pole, staring up at it, head tilted slightly.]

[There is a little girl with red eyes looking down at you.]

... What are you doing up there?

[Haruhi will give Ai a glare. Stalking is a great offense. So says Haruhi.]

[And Ai is suddenly standing in front of the girl.]

Watching people.

[Sara is jumping in puddles, too! Maybe she's a little old for it, but she she seems to be having a good time. When she realizes she's not the only one, though, she stops and watches Ai for a little bit. Then she calls out.]

Hey! Do you want me to show you something?

[Ai stops and looks over at her. Then nods.]

[Action C]

[ What. Did this girl just splash him with water? He shudders from the core as a shiver runs down his spine. His core is fire since he's woken up where he was sleeping inside of Rei, so that was highly disturbing.

He gives the girl a sharp glare. ] You. Brat. What do you think you're doing?

[Impassive gaze back.]

Jumping.

Hey there. Aren't you Slugger's...

[She trails off. Slugger hasn't said exactly what he's calling her.]

[Appears in front of her...she's not sure who you are.]

[Scout plops on down next to her, looking at all the cranes. He holds one up by the tail, looking it over.]

Cool. Why ya makin' all tha birds?

[Finishes a fold.]

[Oh hey Ai. Look at the friendly, little policeman walking by.

He just turns his head and looks directly up at you. And smiles.]

[Watches. Major, you might scare some people. But she's seen hell. Many times.

[Pointless wandering has been the name of the game recently for Pokey. He doesn't really have much to do, as far as he can see. And with a lot that's happened recently? He needs it to clear his head and try and think.

He thinks about passing by, if just because he still feels slightly awkward after Valentine's Day, but decides not to. He just comes over, curious.]

[She looks up as the cat attacks a paper crane. She just pats it's head.]

Yes. It passes time.

[Badou is doing his thing, minding his business and smoking as per usual when he gets that feeling that he's being watched. Being a hard boiled PI back home the kind of person with a strong survival instinct, he looks around...And notices Ai.]

Umm... Did y'need something?

[He's not quite sure what else to say. Because some kid standing on a telephone pole and staring at people? That isn't creepy at all. Nope.]

[She looks down at him....and then shaker her head.

[Bazett stops in her tracks and turns around. She sees the child standing on the telephone pole staring at her. She decides to stare back, not saying anything.]

Spike needs to get to work, but he stops to look up the telephone pole anyway. He doesn't say anything. He just stares back.

She must make short work of trees. ]
