1st Hatred - Welcome to Mayfield
[Wanyudo wakes up. That's the first sign something is wrong.
The fact he is in a bed is the second.
Looking around, he closes his eyes and focuses on returning home. Nothing happens. He feels weird. Wrong. He can't return, though, and he can't change. Both of those things bother him and he sits up in bed and frowns. The room has pictures. Including him and a lovely young woman. Oh, and a couple of kids as well.
Moving from the bed, he goes to the closet, noting the clothes before picking out an outfit and snagging a classy hat. Well, he's dressed and his head is covered. The clothes fit at least.
This didn't look like Japan, so the next order of business was figuring out where. Walking over to the phone, picking it up and trying to dial information.]
[Phone | Everyone]
[An older man's voice comes over the phone.]
Hello? Information?
Hello?

Hello?
[Phone]
....a very familiar voice. She grabs the phone. Have a familiar but startled voice.]
Wanyūdō.

He thought returning would be much harder.]
Mistress.
I seem to be having a little trouble returning, but do not worry, I will find a way.
[No need to burden her, or at least that was his thought. Someone does not realize how big this issue is yet.]
no subject
Ai is now standing in front of you.]
Wanyūdō.
[She hasn't seen you for years. She wants to hug you. But she doesn't do things like that as the hell girl. It's a trait she's picked up here.]
no subject
Though, something isn't right. Not just with him, with everything. He's been around her for centuries.]
Mistress?

We are in a small town called Mayfield. Everyone in this town has been brought here.
I have been here for two years and eight months.
no subject
He bows his head low.]
I have been out for nearly two years? What happened?
[Because that made more sense to him.]
I am sorry for my absence.
no subject
No. I have been gone. Not you.
no subject
[Well, this is a lot to try to figure out at once.
Still, though she could be confusing at times, he knew better than to assume she was wrong.]
I am sure there is a lot I missed in your here. Who brought us here?
[The Lord of Hell? His methods are always cruel.]
no subject
....we're not sure. No one has given an explanation for this place. Other then to pretend we have always lived here. That is why they take away our powers and put us in fake families.
Sometimes you get things back in the mail. But we don't know how they do that either.
Whoever it was, is very powerful.
no subject
[This was a lot. Whoever it is would have to be powerful, and crazy. Another thought came to mind, though.]
How has your fake family been treating you?
no subject
no subject
Has anyone given you any trouble, other than the town itself?
no subject
No one that is still here.
no subject
A moment of silence, and then...]
Are you hungry?
[This was asked with a warm smile.
Enough bothering her with questions about darker things at the moment. The rest he can attempt to discover on his own.]
no subject
...A little.

[Luckily, it appears the town left him a wallet with local money.
Getting his shoes on, not used to having to actually physically dress himself.
Time to get used to new routines.
He leads the way out of the house, not caring that he doesn't know the area. Traveling never discouraged him.]
Do they have good desserts in this place at least?
no subject
The diner isn't bad.
no subject
[Grabbing house keys on the way out. Noticing a car in the drive way, he smiles.
Walking over, hesistating a moment when he realizes the steering wheel is on the wrong side, he unlocks and holds open the passenger door for her.
He knows how to drive, and he assumes he can pick up old American cars without too much of a hassle.
Time to get back to the familiar.]
no subject
Are there only drones in your house?
no subject
I am not entirely sure.
I believe so, though. They were all acting normal.
[Backing out of the drive way and pulling out into the street. Starting slow until he got the hang of it, then cruising at a decent speed.]

[He doesn't know where he is going, but he'll eventually steer away from all the same looking houses to find the parts of town that were somewhat different.]
So, what would the stereotype be? Should we have some apple pie?
no subject
Only the milk you get delivered at home is poisoned.
no subject
[After a while, he will find the location pull into the parking lot.]
So, lets try pie and milk shakes. Then you can tell me about anyone here who helps you I should know about.
