[Anyone attuned to the flow of magic with the capacity to sense it feel a surge coming from Makeout Point. In fact, this sudden concentration feels VERY much like Shana's Guren no Souyoku Unrestricted Method that grants her wings of flame.

Only it doesn't feel quite right. It doesn't feel like fire, but... starlight? A shimmering yellowish glow can be seen from the Point.]

So who wants to go to the Drive In? It's almost dark and I feel like seeing a movie on that really big screen with popcorn and some friends and b--

[She cuts herself off. No, no drinking tonight because... The phone is partially muffled as Marisa yells something back into her own house.]

Oi! Ciel! I'm taking the car tonight. No, I'm not going to drink. Yes, I know how to drive. And no, you're not stopping me. I already got the keys, ze.

[And back to talking on the phone.] So who wants to come with me? No boring people allowed.

You yourself stated that you do "anything you like" with your magic. I am not speaking about the current situation, but future ones. Do not try to harm anybody here in Mayfield.

[Except for the evil people. She would gladly overlook that.]

Well, if you can do anything, what do you usually do?

[She is getting increasingly frustrated.]

You are still a magus. It is my duty to control these things.

What I usually do isn't any of your business, ze. Magicians generally like to not talk about their magic and what they're working on. You should know this is you're part of some magic organization. I've had my magic back here for a long time now and this is the first we've talked. I think that should tell you something about whether you need to 'control' me or not.

[The girl's reply frustrates her, but she knows that technically, the girl is correct.]

Fine. But just keep this in mind. If I catch you using magic to hurt others, I will come after you. Otherwise, do whatever you like.

How about you focus on those that actually are hurting people here - and not just magic users - instead of posturing over the phone at a witch that's done nothing to you? You might be a bit more productive and not irritate the hell out of someone. Hey, you might even get some gratitude.

[She barely resists the urge to crush the phone in her bare hands.]

Do you think I am not already doing that? If you think that I am not, then provide me with a list of people that are hurting others in Mayfield and I will go investigate.

[And, if the evidence proved the accusations, then she would either kill the perpetrators, or force them into a deal so they would limit their damage.]

How about The Major or that dickbag Caster that likes to summon demons to kill anyone he feels like. Or the woman that contracted with him.

[The Major and Caster. She has only heard of the second one. However, she can be sure that the first one is probably similarly evil. As for Oichi, she does not like the idea of killing the woman without provocation, but perhaps it would be the only way of removing Caster as a threat.]

[She carefully hangs up the phone. It is time she looked into this "Major" character.]
