[Well, Squid Girl's all alone again in an empty house.  Caster is gone, just like so many housemates before him.  And to make matters worse, Taiwan has left her too.  It's a pretty solid blow to this little squid's ability to cope with the horrible things in Mayfield, so she's going to deal with it in the best and most productive way she knows how - by throwing a tantrum and making a lot of noise.  Thankfully, she's just opened a new regain that should help with that quite a bit.  Anyone in the general vicinity of 462 Stone Street - or anywhere on the street, really - will hear a five hour long drum solo being loudly and angrily played by Squid Girl throughout most of the afternoon.  She's actually really good, but eventually the sound of drums echoing through the air for that long should grate on even the most patient person's nerves.  But Squid Girl's upset and vulnerable and feeling exceedingly unreasonable right now, so other people are honestly pretty low on her list of priorities.  The door's unlocked, the windows are open, and the phone's available for angry calls, though, so anyone who's reaching their limit can feel free to barge in or yell at her to stop.]

[He pats her on the shoulder.]

How 'bout we knock over the candy store?

Isn't it too heavy for that?

Hahahaha! Nah, I mean we'll rob the place. You know, clean 'em out.

Oh, okay! I guess we'll need to bring brooms and mops, then.

[headfullofempty]

Haha, you're a real card, Kid. Clean 'em out just means to take all their stuff. You just watch me in action. You'll get the idea.

All right! Show me how it's done!

[Okay, he is taking her to the candy store. And just walking in and grabbing whatever he wants. filling his pockets, etc.]

Well, Kid, whatcha waiting for?

[Squid Girl looks around a little and then makes a beeline straight for the gummy sharks and Swedish fish.]

[He runs out of pocket space and remember that he has a deck of cards. So yeah, he's getting ALL the candy. Until the angry drone running the place walks up and demands to know what they're doing. Deuce turns to Squid Girl with a smile.]

Okay, Kid, pay attention. This parts important.

I'm watching!

[Leaning in, staring intently, fists balled up, even as she's chewing on a mouthful of candy. This sounds like it's going to be pretty serious business.]

[Aaaand the drone takes a bull penis cane to the face. Several times. And then to the gut. And then his legs, until he hits the floor.]

Ya gotta make sure they know not to give ya trouble. Here, you wanna try?

[Holds out the cane.]

Yeah, I'll give it a shot!

[She grabs the cane with one of her tentacles, since those are much stronger than her flimsy girly arms. It's just a drone, so she has no problem giving him a couple of good whacks across the back.]

Take that! That's for holdin' out on us!

[headfullofempty]

Good job Kid!

[Deuce kicks him once for good measure.]

Now we make our getaway before the cops show up.

Right! Let's go!

[grabbing as many bags of Swedish fish as her tentacles can carry]

[Aaaannnd, they make their getaway. By which I mean they just walk out.]

So, how'd you like your first job, Kid?

That was awesome! Look at all the candy we got!

Yep, it was a pretty good haul. But they don't always go that smooth. Gets a little dicey when the cops show up.

But we'll leave that for your next lesson. For now you just head on home and enjoy the spoils.
