[Well, it's been a few days since the end of the event, when Lyon stormed up to her room and locked herself in out of sheer embarrassment. She was droned for seemingly no reason about ten minutes after that, and Mayfield's been treated to the cheerful drone named Mismar bouncing around town in her place ever since - doing her hair up in curls, going on dates with the Prince's drone, and just generally having a nice relaxing time in the wonderful town of Mayfield.
...All of that comes to an abrupt end on Saturday morning, however, as a red beam of light tears through the roof of 747 Partridge Drive, bright enough and wide enough to be seen from anywhere in town.]

Just try and relax while you can. We shouldn't have to deal with anything else until around the end of next month. At least, I don't think the town has enough power to pull off the massive stunt from last year, so it shouldn't be until then...
