[Well, it's been a few days since the end of the event, when Lyon stormed up to her room and locked herself in out of sheer embarrassment.  She was droned for seemingly no reason about ten minutes after that, and Mayfield's been treated to the cheerful drone named Mismar bouncing around town in her place ever since - doing her hair up in curls, going on dates with the Prince's drone, and just generally having a nice relaxing time in the wonderful town of Mayfield.

...All of that comes to an abrupt end on Saturday morning, however, as a red beam of light tears through the roof of 747 Partridge Drive, bright enough and wide enough to be seen from anywhere in town.]

...Hello, everyone.  It's Lyon.  I'm back.  How long has it been here?  And can anyone help repair a hole in a roof?

Retso? Who's that? [It's not often he gets to hear about some more of the people from Falena.]

Ah I see, it makes sense that someone like the prince would have a personal cook.

Right! He and his daughter Shun Min make the most delicious dishes! Retso cooks, and she raises the fish.

Aww, that's really cute that it's a family affair.

[sparkling_eyes]

Shun Min is really adorable. She gets angry if you don't finish your meal, because a poor fish had to die in order to make it. Most customers just keep on eating even if they're full.

You know, that's a philosophy I can get behind. I mean if she raises them herself, they're probably pretty precious to her.

[sparkling_eyes]

That's how she is, yeah.

[too bad she's dead by the time Suikoden 2 rolls around, poor Hai Yo]

Man, I haven't had fish in forever...you just can't get the good stuff in this place.

[that is Retso's damn fault, he didn't have to join sushi mafia]

It's really a shame.

Japan's an island nation, so I'm so used to being able to have it whenever I damn well please.

Falena's located inland, but the Feitas river runs through the center of it, so there's always freshwater fish available.

I bet that makes life pretty easy for most people then.

It's very convenient. There's actually whole floating town called Raftfleet that exists on the river, moving around wherever it pleases! They helped us fight the war.

Wow, that's amazing! [He is really impressed]. An entire town?

[sparkling_eyes]

It's a lot of boats and rafts that travel down the river together and then all anchor and congregate in one place for a while.

[weiss_tank]

That must be an absolute nightmare to co-ordinate.

[sparkling_eyes]

Well, its leader Raja used to be the admiral of the Falenan navy, so she's pretty good at organizing.

[weiss_tank]

And good at organizing boats... Fuck, I'd never be able to do that. I can organize kids, but not at that kinda scale!

[sparkling_eyes]

She's very talented.

[weiss_tank]

I bet you guys had a lot of talented people on your side, that war sounded absolutely nasty.

[sparkling_eyes]

It was really hard, but the Prince had a lot of good people supporting him.

[weiss_tank]

I'm glad. From what little I got to see him, he seems like a nice kid. [Then he smirks] If he wasn't you wouldn't have that big of a crush on him.

[sparkling_eyes]

[Lyon laughs a little, blushing.]

We actually got together after the war ended.

[weiss_tank]

Well that's good. I suppose that's one way to stop Miakis's teasing.
