[Well, it's been a few days since the end of the event, when Lyon stormed up to her room and locked herself in out of sheer embarrassment.  She was droned for seemingly no reason about ten minutes after that, and Mayfield's been treated to the cheerful drone named Mismar bouncing around town in her place ever since - doing her hair up in curls, going on dates with the Prince's drone, and just generally having a nice relaxing time in the wonderful town of Mayfield.

...All of that comes to an abrupt end on Saturday morning, however, as a red beam of light tears through the roof of 747 Partridge Drive, bright enough and wide enough to be seen from anywhere in town.]

...Hello, everyone.  It's Lyon.  I'm back.  How long has it been here?  And can anyone help repair a hole in a roof?

French toast. Miakis seemed to like it the last time I made it so... I figured it might be nice after all the shit this town just pulled in rapid succession.

That all seems like so long ago now. Has it really only been a few days here?

[Ken nodded] Yeah, you only went freaky for a little bit.

[Lyon blushes and then quickly frowns.]

...Please don't remind me of that.

[weiss_tank]

Sorry Lyon. Now come down and eat.

[sparkling_eyes]

All right, I'll be down in a minute.

[She gets changed into her usual attire upstairs and shows up a few minutes later at the breakfast table.]

[It's fairly standard french toast fare. Powered sugar and enough syrup to drown a small island.]

How long were you back in Falena for?

I regained something that reacted a little badly when I woke up back in Mayfield instead of at home.

That bad, huh? Well, if you wait a day, the hole can fix itself, I think.

It's really good! We don't have this kind of food back in Falena.

How did you get the roof fixed?

The better part of a year. The war finally ended. Miakis was right - we won.

Do houses still do that? I know the machine that brings us back is still having problems - or at least it was when I left. Does that apply to fixing the houses, too?

It wasn't the roof, it was a wall, and it was back at the mansion so I had to work at it with some of the other staff.

I wonder if I'll have to do that here, or if the house will just fix itself. Did that machine have anything to do with fixing property damage, or just us?

I'm hoping not. I've never had to do anything like that before.
