1 (LATEST INTRO...)

action, at Mayfield public library.

[ a girl is frowning as she surveys the titles. if you're around in the library, she'll probably be coming up to you with a copy of Cooking For Spoiled Princess Brats Dummies in her hands, looking more than a little annoyed. ]

This is the local library, right? Is the selection of books here really this... limited?

action, at 308 miller (with Blu Spy).

[ it takes her a while to muster up the courage to return home. people are supposed to revive if they die here, though. everything should be fine. she inhales and opens the door, glancing inside with caution. ]

I'm back...

Those apparently in charge of Mayfield are notorious for doing everything in their power to leave us in the dark. This is just an extension of that.

Book censorship is easy, until the population starts being able to bring in their own books. It's not very nice, but I understand.

I've been in... a few situations somewhat like this. Censorship, monitoring, being unable to leave, that sort of thing.

Uh... Dealt as best as I could, mostly. I had a few friends who brought me books secretly, which was nice, even if it never really helped much in the long run.

We'll find a way out. [He's oddly stubborn about that, even if he has no proof.]

It's just a matter of waiting and gathering more information. Eventually, though, they have to let us go.

Isn't it, though? Most days, we don't even have an idea of what to battle, let alone how to win.

I'm not, no, although I have heard of it here and there as well.
technophiling: (totally not a bag of issues)

Ah, right. I'm Estonia. Nice to meet you.

[Giving a smile, he holds his hand out for a shake.]
technophiling: (brainy one)

I think every good meeting in Mayfield is despite a lot of things. [A little chuckle, quiet enough to be safe in a library.]

You've not been here long, I take it?
technophiling: (sunflowers are okay I guess)

Is there anything in particular you're having difficulty with?

[He lets out a faint chuckle before he can stop himself.]

No, I'm sorry. I can understand how lifestyle changes like that are big.
