2nd Exploration | The sweet scent of sibling love
A. [Phone]; backdated to the 14th
[Okay, now that he stopped blushing long enough to speak into the phone...]
Ah, t-thank you to whoever left these nice flowers. If you tell me who you are, I would like to thank you properly. I am very grateful for the gift. [quietly] I didn't know I had a secret admirer...[He feels a bit awkward about it but..] I promise to keep them nice and healthy!
B. Action; Around Town
[Riku inhaled the scent of the Carnation flowers he recieved, so while he's carrying back home the ingredients for the dessert he's making for the holiday, anyone he spots will be treated like that long lost sibling he's never met. If you're younger than him, he'll especially make sure to dote on you, no matter how annoying it might be.]
(ooc: Riku's got the effects of the Carnation flower, and he will be treating your character like they've suddenly become siblings, and for adults, he might be compelled to look at you like family too! Sorry this is extremely late, things have been a little hectic and I got delayed. I plan on making up for my lack of tagging as well if you'll bear with me.)

B;
but he should have probably been focusing more on where he was going and less on getting to said house. he would have probably been able to avoid running directly into Riku if he'd done that!]
Excuse you, watch where you're- [whoops wait he knows this one abort mission]
no subject
Charles? What are you doing? You shouldn't be out here alone! Did you get lost?
[ooc: I'm assuming they know each other's names at this point, that okay with you?]
no subject
[and whoops he almost immediately recognises this reaction, considering the fact that he's run into another person affected by carnations already and had to deal with being swung around. his poor dignity...]
How old do you think I am? [oh wait, pretty young, probably... there goes that argument!] No, more importantly than that, you oughtn't be out here alone. [...] And stop smelling the flowers, you massive dolt.
no subject
no subject
[and by escort he means lock in the basement/bedroom/closet of his house because that is how all healthy people deal with their problems]
no subject
No, I don't need an escort. [He's deemed himself mature enough to do a little shopping on his own.] If you keep being grumpy, your face will get stuck like that.
[and he's just going to shift his things into one arm and pull a little at Charles' arm, he's welcome to pull away though. Invading your personal space isn't an issue for him.]
no subject
at least he's nice enough to civilly pull his arm away instead of flailing away like his initial instinct demands.]
If it were to be stuck like this, that would have happened a long time ago. What are you even doing out here? Has no one warned you of the holidays yet?
no subject
I'm going to make something sweet, I'll be sure to set a portion aside for you. [but something in that statement stands out to him] Warn me? You make it sound like the holidays are a bad thing.
no subject
[not that anything can be done about that, per se...]
no subject
[And that naive smile returns to his face. There was no way Charles would be able to get through to him while he was like this.] I'll be fine, and as long as you are too then there's no reason to let the day go to waste.
no subject
I'm actually terribly ill. [just look at that convincing sick face!] So ill, in fact, that I mustn't go within ten feet of the park, lest I break out in hives.
no subject
Then we'll stay far away from it, but if you're sick I need to take you home.
[No, he's definitely not letting you walk home alone now.] Do you feel hot? Are you dizzy? [he's leaning closer and staring straight into your face, checking for any signs of breaking out, or fatigue.]
no subject
Yes, I'm hot, so don't stand that close. Do you want me to die of heat exhaustion? [his irritation is leaking through a bit strongly there... good thing Riku seems oblivious to everything under the sun!]
no subject
Ah, no of course not! I'm sorry. [How could you even say that to him?!] You need to get inside and lie down or you'll pass out. Maybe I should have brought some ice packs...
no subject
[he can totally work this to his advantage! and try to destroy all of the flowers anywhere in eyesight there, while he's at it.]
no subject
no subject
That was my intention, yes. You needn't fret so horribly.
no subject
no subject
and ever so discreetly throwing out every suspicious-looking bundle of flowers they come across while holding his breath]
no subject
Okay, you just sit down inside and I'll make an ice pack to help you cool down.
[unless he tries running off, of course.]
no subject
Fine, fine. Take your time. [he'll wait until Riku turns back around before pitching the last of the flowers, unaware that all of his efforts are in vain anyway...]
no subject
no subject
it's kind of bizarre, actually being inside of the house instead of just keeping an eye on it from a distance. not that he cares about what may or may not happen to Riku during his stay, of course...!]
no subject
There. Put this on your head, it should cool your temperature.
[He turns his head to the side and his face brightens. Which can't be anything good for you.]
Charles, do you want one of these? [holding up the vase of seemingly innocent carnations] I got a note with them, but it didn't say who they were from. [Why was that scent so alluring to him?]
no subject
grumpilyeasily enough, but as soon as those flowers are held out, he's leapt back about as far as possible and put his hand up to cover his nose and mouth]Put those away! No, better yet, throw them out-!
no subject
Why would I do that? Don't be scared, they won't hurt you. [and he'll just step over into your space again.]
A.
[ Being in Mayfield for months would teach you that. Firo hasn't connected the flowers to the sudden influx of strange behavior, though. ]
no subject
no subject
...You haven't been here very long, have you?
no subject
no subject
no subject
But if it were something you'd never seen before, wouldn't you want to find out more about it?
no subject
no subject
...That's scary. Who would do that with such nice flowers?!
no subject
no subject
That's impossible, no one would be able to make flowers do that.
no subject
They also hid spiders in the milk. You've got no idea what they can do, do ya?
no subject
...Aren't you exaggerating now?
no subject
[ After watching his friend age agonizingly quickly due to "improvements" it was probably Firo's worst Mayfield experience. ]
no subject
...Are you feeling sick?
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
no subject
[ Extremely. But he's not about to admit that. He does pause, though. ]
No. That'd be like tellin' them they won.
no subject
I guess. But, don't do anything reckless, you could get hurt.
no subject
I won't. Though sometimes that doesn't even help...
You too, okay? Stay on guard.
no subject
[And he politely places the phone back on the reciever.]
