down the rabbit hole - 001
[action: 1446 Mitchell Road
He's not used to waking up in beds - proper, normal-people beds - any more.
So when he does, for the first time in a while, and not in an Arkham-issue uniform on an Arkham-issued bed, and without his hat, he sits up, and looks around wildly. Checking for the signs of his often too-vivid lucid dreaming; odd little motifs that he's gotten used to seeing.
He sees none of these things, and after some inspection is forced to conclude that this is not, in fact, a dream. He's not dismayed about the fact he's out of Arkham, but he does want his hat.
He gets out of bed, rubbing his eyes, and starts poking around the house; and when he notices the happy family photos he frowns, and shakes his head, and turns away - muttering about strange dreams and Red Kings.
He'll probably bump into his 'family' members soon enough. ]
[ phone: later on ]
Oh, goodness. I have the strangest feeling....
Er, good afternoon. My name is Jervis Tetch, and I've just woken up here...again. [ He vaguely remembers spending some time here. He's not drinking the milk here ever again. ]
I...believe I spent some time here, before. Are any of my colleagues still here, by any chance?

Well, I suppose we'll have to reconcile them somehow! It wouldn't do to have them quarrelling, after all.

[Which is to say that the town frustrates him and he's on nearly every Rogue's nerves right now.]
You were away for some time.

So I am! I would say it's good to be back, but I do hate to lie. It's good to see you, Jonathan.
Did anything catastrophic happen whilst I was away?
