[ When Magnus wakes up this morning, he neglects looking in the mirror. If he had, he would've noticed that his eyes are no longer human. They're now cat-like; golden with a slit, vertical pupal. He just rolls out of bed and shuffles into the kitchen to make himself some tea.

He still misses Starbucks and his cat tripping him in the mornings. ]

Oh, what a week it has been. I've had better. But I've also had worse.

And just out of curiosity, did anybody run into a guy who was hearing things and talking nonsense about a war a couple days ago?

Oh, I heard he's doing much better. Some fading side-effects, but other than that, he's fine. I'm sure he'd be thankful for your concern.

[ Keine's already beat you to the kitchen, Magnus! And happens to be preparing the water now for a cup of tea. When she hears the sound of someone coming down though, she looks to see who it is. ]

Ah, Magnus Bane. Good morning. [ A nod. ] Would you like a drink of tea or coffee?

[ She hasn't yet spotted his eyes...! ]

[ Yawning and stretching some more before nodding. ]

Good morning to you, too. Tea sounds nice.

[ Then he's going to drop himself into a kitchen chair. ]

How much milk and sugar do you prefer?

[ Keine will just get him a cup ready near her own, then! ]

No milk, two sugars.

[ And there's a 'thank you' in there that he's too lazy to actually voice. ]

[ She'll excuse that and put in the two sugars along with the teabag. The water is finished boiling soon after, and so she pours it out into the two cups, stirs, and turns to the table to put them in place before taking a seat. ]

[ He takes it and actually murmurs a half-hearted thank you as he takes a drink. He sets the cup down and looks up at her. ]

How are you? [ In regards to this morning, and also the past week during the crazy surgery thing. ]

Fine. [ When she answers, Keine looks to him, and it's then that she sees his eyes. They do make a pause before she speaks again, but does she question about it? If he knows, it would be just pointing out the obvious to say 'you have different eyes this morning'.

Well, maybe in a moment. ] More so than most must be still feeling, I would suspect. And yourself?

[ A very nonchalant shrug. ] Sometimes, I still hear explosions in the distance. It's rather grating on my nerves.

[ Yep, Magnus spent most of the event hallucinating he was in a war zone. It was not a happy time. ]

[ Keine was stuck with a friend who continuously bled and then healed. ]

Mhm. [ Tracing his finger around the rim of his cup. ] I was hallucinating that I was in a war zone. I imagine I probably looked like an idiot to the people I came across.

[ He's pretty sure he even attacked some. Whoops. ]
