[339 Brady Lane, morning]
[The residents of Brady Lane might be awoken by sporadic bursts of barking and snarling in the middle of the night, and by morning Mika has reached a rather foul mood. Her poor sleep schedule's bad enough, but with the added stress of the sudden TV and radio noise on top of it has put her on edge.]
Quinn, I'm going out. I need to stock up on a few things, I'll explain when I get back. Raz, stay safe, I don't want you getting hurt and both of you keep an eye on that drone.
[Phone]
[Someone's voice sounds more raw than usual, a low growl constant in her voice.]
The clocks have gone strange, the drones are acting up, and the walls and floors decide to play at being air for a while. Anyone else keeping track of this? It looks like our lovely little cage is starting to have accidents.
I'm going to keep track of the radio, see if I can't make out any of the mutterings, but it's too obnoxiously low right now to tell what they're saying.
[339 Brady Lane, afternoon]
[Something odd is going on at the Hatch house. Aside from occasional bursts of colorful swearing as her supplies fall through the walls and doors, Mika seems to be spending her time vandalizing the house. At least if those seals she seems intent on putting up could even be called that. Anyone coming close can smell sage smoke and there seems to be a lot of red tape on the windows.]

afternoon
Hey... what're ya up to? [He's looking over the windows.]

[A notebook is thrown at him through a windowpane as she's trying to prep it from the outside. The pages are covered with a hurried scrawl, but there's different seals illustrated as well as notes about something involving windows and duct tape.]
Last shitty dump I was trapped in developed a nasty case of possessions and hauntings. I am not dealing with that again. The red tape prevents them from getting inside, burning sage cleanses the house, while the seals should keep anything worse outside. Thing is, I have a nasty feeling that this whole mess is more up your alley than mine.
[She stopped what she was doing, peering up at him through the glass.]
Does that make any sense or did I lose you, Quinn?

Okay, no, see. Here's the thing. This is nothing like the possessions I'm used to, at least not quite. Doesn't this seem more like a technical failure? Like this is more like a series of programming errors? Suddenly I'm starting to wonder if this isn't all some bizarre virtual simulation or something.

I'm startin' to think you're right. Like somethin's wrong with the programming, for sure. Man, just let me at it and I'd fix it right up.

See? But it's only the environment that's failing, not the coding that's trapping us here. Powers that are sealed or unsealed are still contained like normal, it's just the world around us that's going buggy.
[Her tail is wagging even more now that she feels like she's got a solid theory for this whole mess.]

For now. If they don't fix this stuff who knows what else might go wrong. I hope the whole thing ain't just deteriorating.

Who knows, sadly it wouldn't really surprise me if it did.
