[It's rough, getting used to this human body all of a sudden. Len keeps trying to cue up music files to sing from, only to remember that he doesn't have a hard drive any more. And his singing - the less said about that the better. It's still his same beautiful voice, and talking isn't so hard, but the muscles of his new human throat don't seem to want to cooperate when he sings. It's already a little better than when he first woke up, but he still wants to tear his hair out every time he tries.

At least bananas still taste good!

He manages not to slam the door behind him today (who knew judging his strength in a new body would be so hard), and he's feeling pretty triumphant about that when an old, faded piece of paper blows across his path, with a faint but somehow familiar image on it. Curious, he picks it up...

Thirty seconds later he's tearing it to shreds]

♪ Rin!! H-how could you, when I wasn't even here to defend myself--!!

[And here's Yuna, jogging on up behind Len while he's dealing with that flyer. She didn't hear his earlier outburst, and from the back, he looks a lot like...]

Hey, Rin! What's up!

[Wait. Wait, could it be? Is Rin lurking around here somewhere? Oh geez he hopes she didn't hear that outburst. He turns around to the source of the voice.]

♪ Rin's here? Where is she?! I need to find her!

[Yuna is momentarily taken aback, blinking a little at this new but familiar town resident.]

Huh? Hey, you're not Rin...

[But then it dawns on her, and she snaps her fingers in realization.]

Oh! You must be her twin brother! Len, right? Yeah, Rin's here too. She's gonna be so excited to see you again!

[roadrolling]

[Rin is instantly forgiven for the "shota" flyer. Or, at least, the offense is momentarily forgotten.]

♪ Aa, that's me! So you know Rin? Can you tell me where she is?

[There's a nice breeze to be blowing almost-a-year-old flyers around, and a breeze like that is a good atmosphere for a walk! A walk with her doggy that may or may not be a Len incarnate. Catching a whiff of that man, said doggy suddenly starts growling and barking and tugging his leash toward him. Startled, Rin is dragged a foot or two]

Jeez!! What's gotten into you, Lenlen-- ♪

[ Oh.

She saw him. ]

[the breeze picks up a bit as she momentarily stares with her mouth open. There is still the distraction of restraining the angry little puppy, but it's white noise to her at the moment. Is this real? It's not another hallucination, is it? With those alarm bells, something surely could be wrong.]

[no, wait.

Why would they make her dog hallucinate?

[A boy on a walking table trots up slowly from behind, calling out as he approaches.]

Ah, good morning! ...Oh, you're a little different again today. I'd meant to ask you how you did that at the concert.

[So probably some time after Len meets with Rin, he might find his other older sister--with her Append frame as well, doggone it--passing by, gnawing on a leek. Which is already pretty obvious, but still.

She doesn't notice him just yet.]

[oh but he notices you, ETERNAL RIVAL beloved older sister!]

♪ Heeeey! Miku-nee!!

[She blinks. Wait, that voice sounds strangely familiar. A little too familiar.

She turns around, and freezes up when she sees Len. There's a lot of feelings here: she's honestly surprised to see him, she's glad there's one more Vocaloid in town with her and Rin, she's worried about what will happen now back home, she's preparing to defend her position as number one virtual diva, and she's really scared about what will happen to him, now that he's here.

Then she decides, screw it. He's her little brother.]

Len-kun! [Rushing on over.]

[why did Miku-nee freeze up when she saw him? ... oh, surely it's because she knows her days at the top of the charts are numbered now that he and Rin are both here. that has to be it. he'll go ahead and tell himself that's what's going on.]

♪ Even Miku-nee's stuck in this kind of place, huh...
