8th Adventure

[There's nothing Aurora loves more than helping people. But in this situation, she's not sure what to do. It goes beyond anything she knows, but that doesn't mean she won't try something.

Any time this week, people who appear in front of the "hospital" might see Mayfield's friendly ghost there. She carries with her a bag, and a wagon. She can't do much to help people on her own, but she can help bandage them up, or get them home or to the proper hospital.

She'll be walking around the area, looking all over for people in need. Feel free to get her attention. Or, if she sees you there or in town while injured, she'll stop to check on you.]

[On the morning of the 30th, there is one girl that, despite looking utterly lost and miserable, seems reluctant to accept help, considering how she's trying to avoid Aurora.]

[Hey Aurora. Hope you're ready for surprises, because what's happened to Haruko? Is pretty insane. At the moment, she can't even really move from the weight of her "wings" and how poor her roller skate feet are for movement. So she's just sitting against the factory, her eyes producing a constant stream of laser beams at the ground in front of her, Haruko occasionally lifting her head a little.

In her dazed, confused state, she's hoping she can create a path she actually can move along. No matter how long it takes.]

Oh. Um, my name's Aurora. Nothing's happened to me so far, so I figured I should help those that have. Um, I've got some first aide stuff on me...

[Aurora gasps in shock. She cautiously approaches, not even sure what to make of all that.]

[When Olivier sees Aurora with her supplies, she grins]

[She stares at the bag, unconvinced and uncomfortable.] ...

[Huh? What was that? It takes Haruko a minute, because she's still a little busy shooting laser eyes, but she finally gives a small nod.]

Oh, yes, I'm wonderful, thanks for asking! You seem like you haven't been affected either. Do you know much about first aid?

[Aurora gives Clover a pleading look, then sets it on the ground and takes a step backl.] You can take a look yourself.

U-Um, can you... close your eyes? I'm here to help you. O-Or at least I can try...

No, I haven't been affected, so that's why I'm trying to help! Ah... no, I don't. But I know that people need to clean up injuries and bandage them, so I brought that along. [First aid isn't something ghosts learn.]

Just make sure any wounds are thoroughly cleaned before wrapping them, and if it's bleed a lot, apply pressure!

And kind of sigh and be annoyed as the lasers fire through her eyelids.]

Oh, oh! Oh gosh, I'm sorry! I didn't know... Um... I'm not sure what I can do for you. I'm really sorry. I can't believe they could do something so strange and cruel to someone.

Um, bandages, disinfectant, band-aides... Oh, some bread, cuz I thought people might be hungry too...

Oh! Okay! I can do that. I think. I mean I know! I know I can. Do you want to help me find people?

Well... I don't need bandages. [She brings a hand to her head.] I'm in one piece.

[She gives her an enthusiastic, maybe overly so, pat on the back.]

Believe in yourself and you'll have it mastered in no time! Sure, we can get more done working together!

[This is not Kid's thing, Aurora, so you will have to cut him some slack. He wants to help, he just isn't exactly sure about how to go about it.]

Well, what I'm doing is trying to find people appearing outside the hospital. A lot of them are terribly injured. So I've got some first aid stuff with me, and some food. Some of them have been locked up in there for awhile.

So I would assume you are just attempting to fix them up a bit, so they can get somewhere safe?

Exactly. Sadly, I can't really do more than that. Maybe get them to a real doctor too, if I can.

I'm not certain I could do more than just help get them somewhere safe or to someone who could help...
