Huh...this is pretty different than anything else they've done.

But sometimes stuff seems to happen that's outside the control of the people who run this place.

It's a bit more than a bit, but it's nothing to worry about if you're not getting involved. Today is the 4th day since the portals started appearing, with a new day bringing another portal; my guess is this'll run its course until the end of the week.
