[A] Action: Dairy]

[Margot has definitely been tipped off that something is up during the early hours of the morning when the tv had gone on the fritz, waking her up from a booze induced coma on the couch.

It’s only amplified when, later, she tries to go out the backdoor to have a pre-breakfast cigarette and manages to pass through the door. She plays with this for a moment (in-out-in-out) before it becomes solid again, ramming her face rather painfully into the wood and feeling like a fool.

It gives her an idea, though.

For most of the morning, she listens in to the phone network, confirming that other strange things are happening (and, really, all she has to do is look outside at the drones to know). Before noon, after she’s taken a trip to the floor through one of the kitchen chairs, she works up the nerve to head out and towards the dairy, willing to try something.

It’s Dist’s words that urge her on -- things are falling apart. Time to act. She feels good about this, pumped. She can do it.

The dairy door is in sight, she keeps striding purposefully forward, almost there and...

BAM!

She bounces unceremoniously off the door and lands flat on her ass, rubbing her forehead.

Okay. It only worked part of the time with the door at home and then randomly with the chair, maybe it just needs a bit? She gives it a few more minutes and then tries again, but this time more cautiously.

Same thing. Solid as a rock.

She can be found at this for the next several hours with absolutely no success whatsoever. Gold stars for trying?]

[B] Phone]

Has anyone else tried going through the walls of the dairy or city hall or the post office? It seems like things are -- are flickering. Like something is wrong with the illusion?

I tried myself, but had no luck. Maybe someone else will get it.

[And yes, someone does sound bitter about this.]

And then I'd get a field of sunflowers. And learn to bake. And maybe get someone else to take care of the sheep for a while so I could try something else.

[allwehad]

You have sheep? I didn't know that! [laughing] And I like the part about the sunflowers. That sounds pretty.

[Lucas smiles a little in embarrassment.]

My family were farmers. We raised a lot of sheep, mostly... Until they started getting struck by lightning, anyway.

[allwehad]

I lived in a farming town when I was little. It was really nice, quiet. [shrugs] Er... Lots of storms?

[a_gentle_boy]

Oh, don't worry, they're fine. They just don't like going outside anymore.

[allwehad]

I'd think not! What else would you do when you get home?

[a_gentle_boy]

Um...

[He's not sure, really. His life has revolved so much around fighting off the Pigmask Army that he hardly knows what he'd do after.]

...I guess I'd just do some of the things I do here. Draw, try and practice the piano if I can find one... I'd like to go to school if I can. ...Boring, right?

What about you, Miss Margot?

[allwehad]

At this point, take boring. Boring is good.

[She's got about the same problem: traveling, fighting, war. What do you do after that?]

I think... You know, I think I'd see if Sasha still wanted to be together. That'd be cool. Maybe go back to Haven and watch the boats or take up fishing.

[a_gentle_boy]

Sasha?

[Lucas smiles up to her.]

I thought you said it didn't work out.

[allwehad]

[Someone is looking embarrassed and turning red.]

Yeah, well... Things are a little different now, I think, and she does these little things. You know like -- like smiles and stuff?

[a_gentle_boy]

...

[Lucas stifles a laugh at that.]

Uh-huh. And laughing. ...And brushing up against you. And she probably smells nice.

[allwehad]

[Margot sighs wistfully.]

She smells really nice. She also does this thing with her hair, you know? Like puts it up in this really --

[She makes this elaborate bun-hair motion before realizing how ridiculous this all is.]

Uh. Yeah.

[a_gentle_boy]

Hair is important. ...I mean, I don't really know what's supposed to look good and what doesn't, but it's important.

[allwehad]

Yeah, it is.

[Says the girl that leaves hers unruly or just ties it back.]

...I think I see the ship now.

[a_gentle_boy]

[The Margot/Sasha ship??? Lucas glances down the road and nods.]

OK. Did you want to take a nap first?

[allwehad]

[SS Adorakable set sail!]

Yeah, nap first sounds good. Better to be well rested at this point, I suppose.

[a_gentle_boy]

I'll run home and get some ingredients! Take your time and rest, Miss Margot.

[allwehad]

[At the door, she pauses to give him a big hug.]

Alright, alright. I'll see you in a little while, okay?

[a_gentle_boy]

[Fool! Hugs only fuel the strength of his diabolical scheme to flood the world with love and harmony! Lucas smiles brightly and turns away.]

No sneaking out of bed, now!

((Ahhh... I wanna say keep going because they are precious. If we get bored, we can just stop?))

[Lucas waves and hops off the porch and away. Margot would probably nap for a while, so... off to the grocery store to get more ingredients!]

[allwehad]

[Margot manages to get a couple of hours in without the assistance of alcohol (she'll save that for later when Lucas isn't going to be around) and will be puttering around the kitchen trying to tidy up before he returns.]

[a_gentle_boy]

[Shoot he had forgotten to say no alcohol. Oh well he'll be back soon enough and he will make a face when he sees her up.]

You should rest more! It's OK, I can take care of dinner myself.

[allwehad]

[Completely sober, just for you! She raises her hands in surrender and sits down on the floor cross-legged. Yeah. She's not contending with the chairs when they randomly glitch out.]

I slept plenty! I feel all nice and refreshed.

[a_gentle_boy]

I definitely see bags under your eye.

[Lucas nods sagely to himself and also sighs in relief that he had cut himself off before the plural.]
