1) Action: 1334 Benny Street

[For the most part, Sasami was still a little shaken up over the carnival and being trapped in that room, deciding to stay far away from it. Thanks to it, she pretty much missed out on everything else that happened that day. However, waking up the next day and spotting a box outside, her curiosity got the better of her.]

A present? For me?

[Opening it up, there were two things inside. One was a set of her trademark red-beaded hair ties. The second was a card of... herself really. She picked it up and looked at it briefly before the card disappeared, dropping the box as she stepped back in shock.]

...what... what just happened there? [She didn't FEEL any different, but maybe it was just her.]

2) Phone

Um, I got a question - do boxes with items from home come here all the time? Because I just got one and... it's missing a lot of stuff from it. I know it's sounds silly to ask this, but... can't blame me for asking, right?

3) Action

[It taken her a lot of nerve to work up the urge to see about those hair ties. Maybe they were hers. Or maybe it was something the town planned. With a small sigh, she took up one of the ties and watched as it converted into a small staff.]

Oh, wow... it IS mine!

[With a bit of a smile on her face, she began taking a few skilled swings at it, trying to get the feel for it once more. It might not have been long without it, but she was certain she was a little rusty.]

Good morning Sasami. Did you go throw out the milk this morning?

[Hayate is walking downstairs having overslept. She was tired from helping people all during the tail end of that horrible carnival, and here she was yawning with her hair sticking up.]

Huh? Oh, no, not yet... there was a box out here with... well, a card of me and it looks like my hair ties from home...

[A brief silence before.]

Oh, just tired. I was up late last night. I'm fine, I just need some of that coffee first.

[Looks over and arches an eyebrow.] Oh ho, the mailman came huh? One sec.

[Going over to the door, she checked and came back with a couple of boxes for herself as well.] Looks like there's stuff for me too.

[Oh, look - she had no clue you were a mage, Hayate!]

[Opening up the first box, she blinked and smiled as she carefully pulled the brown tome from it.] Rein-chan...

[Holding it up, she clutched the book to her chest seconds before her clothing fountained off in a hail of feathers, clothing her in her Knight Armor.]

She's... not here but that's fine. I wouldn't want her to worry...

[Aaaaand Sasami can't help but gasp and jump back as Hayate transformed, catching her off-guard. One the one hand, she had no clue she could do that! On the other, she couldn't help but be awed by it.]

H-Hayate? What are you...? A-Are you a magical girl, like in those cartoons?

Hmm? Ah yes, yes I am actually. The proper term is mage, but being a magical girl is actually one of those things that come with it.

[She smiled as she leaned on her staff as the book floated in her hands as those glowing wings on her back fluttered.

The book opening, she checked out its contents.] Hmm this is strange. The book is filled, but most of the text is intelligible. Nope, nope, nope...

[She hadn't noticed there's a second box there yet to be opened.]

[She blinked a bit as she continued to watch Hayate before noticing the second box nearby.]

Um... is that yours, too?

Hmm? Oh yeah.

[Putting the Tome down, she picked up the box and opened it up. Inside was a little card with Ragnarok written across it. The letters floated up into the air and flew into the Tome at that moment, and it flipped itself to a page where a spell revealed itself.]

Oh that's handy. It gave me back Ragnarok.

It's a long range bombardment spell, fires multiple times. Though I'm not going to test it. It's got too much of a range and a devastation radius.

[But, now, Sasami can't hold something back - her excitement.]

But, Hayate... you're so cool! You design clothes, you're a mage, you... I...! [She runs up and hugs Hayate. She doesn't care who she is and if they're not related.]

[Aww yeah, she had a fangirl out of her not!daughter! Hayate'll hug her back as she laughs lightly.]

You're a wonderful girl too, Sasami. You've got a lot of things you can accomplish, and you're a wonderful cook too.

Thank you, Hayate. That means a lot...! I wonder, though... do you think I...? [she stops in her train of thought and shakes her head.] N-Never mind. That would be silly of me to ask that.

Maybe, sometime. There's always people teaching new things here, and perhaps there's a way for you to become a magical girl.

As it stands, I could try to teach you magic but I don't know how good I'll be at that.

Don't. It was a silly and, really, selfish request. If this place is giving me back stuff, I don't think I'll really need it. Maybe. [She smiles and giggles.]

Besides, isn't the parent supposed to be the one protecting the kids? [Yes, this was all fake, but for now, Sasami's considering you the mother!]

[Hayate giggled at that, smiling. She nodded, giving her a little hug.]

Thank you...! Though... you think you can make me an outfit like that? [she points to Hayate's Knight Armor, blushing.] I think it looks... nice...

[She pulls back from Hayate, still blushing. Yeah, another silly request, but maybe one she wouldn't mind fulfilling.]
