017 ❖ And I continue to be 100% normal
[Action: Stone Street (housemates, anybody passing by)]
[When Clover wakes up, she doesn't immediately notice anything different. Whether that's due to ordinary morning grogginess or what she went through on the other side of the Carnival, well, even she couldn't tell you.
But after she's had some time to wake up (and get her thoughts sorted out a little; this is going to be the weirdest fucking phone call, wow, but she has to ask), she finally sees something new outside. Something that makes her quite happy, in fact.]
Oh hell yeah! [She's running outside as she grins and laughs, coming to a stop at a small shack now sitting in the front yard. It looks a lot like it was put together by a sole person in an afternoon or two with a hammer and nails, but it's making Clover absolutely elated. She opens the door, steps inside, and...
Her grin dies when she sees the shack is completely empty.] Wow, sonsabitches.
[... No, wait. There's something there on the grass-- on the floor! It's her toolbox!] Oh, yeah! I knew this couldn't be all of it! [She hurriedly opens the box, and...
Yeah there's nothing there either. This comes as a surprise to nobody at all.]
[Phone]
[Ok, she's kicked a stone or two and let off some steam. Can't put this off any longer, right? She just has to... phrase it carefully. Really carefully.]
That better have taught you guys not to just go and wander off into a creepy fuckin' horror movie carnival.
But, uh, that's not really why I'm callin'. It's just... a weird thought, y'know? I figure there's enough weirdos in this place that I'll get an answer or two, at least.
Has anybody ever felt like... like they know exactly how it feels to die? I mean, those of ya who haven't actually died before. I bet there's a lot of ya here, but I'm askin' people who're pretty sure they've never died before.
Just, uh...
Just a thing I was wonderin'. For no real reason, y'know?
Yup.
[filtered to Nadeko; a little later]
Hey, let's hang out. Got a place ya like bein' at?
[Clover sounds like she's kind of in a hurry. Huh.]

[Owwww headddddd...] Unfortunately due to the events of that very carnival I am unable to accurately answer your question; I remember quite clearly what happened whilst there unfortunately.
[Phone]
So, what kinda ungodly abomination did ya get?
[Phone]
Admittedly, I was mildly fortunate in the form of abomination it was actually. I was locked within the house without air; I passed out in exactly one minute and 43 seconds. [Wow, precise...]
[Phone]
... Whoa. So I guess... ya didn't really feel that much, did ya?
[Phone]
However, I have no doubt it is the reason my head is now in just as much pain now.
