A. Action; 1333 Benny Road

[Koharu woke up slowly this morning. She realized after a moment that there wasn't a hard church floor beneath her. Oh...had that time in that carnival place ended? She sighed contentedly, shifting her previously broken arm and curled up tighter. Thank goodness. Only a day and a half there... Yet for some reason, something felt different. The bed is just a tad bit off and she shifts from her side to her back to feel the change. The quilt is different as well and she frowns sleepily. Perhaps Ukraine changed the blankets while she was gone. Mn, that must be it.

Of course that didn't explain the leg her foot just touched--]

Ah! [Koharu scrambled backwards, hitting the lamp on the bedside table, tangling her legs in the blanket and ultimately hitting the floor with an undignified thump. The sudden fall knocked the wind out of her and she sat there, more than a little dazed, in the unecessarily frilly nightgown Mayfield had provided. She struggled to catch her breath as she finally remembered to look at the other person in her bed--no this wasn't her bed at all. This wasn't her room. Oh what had Mayfield done.

B. ACTION Outside 1333 Benny Road

[Koharu no longer has a job or school to keep herself busy and she's still flustered over ending up in this house as his wife. Something to keep her mind occupied would work best. So she starts with the chores outside, sweeping off the path.

It occurs to her about halfway through that is not something they really do in Mayfield, but rather at home. Still, she's nearly done anyways.]

Ukraine? Um--this is Koharu! I'm alright, really! I know I disappeared and...I'm okay now. I promise. Really. Oh! I just--turned 18 and--[pause to be unsure] I'm at 1333 Benny Road. I'm alright and I'm not droned, I promise. It looks...like I missed my birthday and Tanabata but--that's okay!

I'll um...I'll just celebrate Tanabata tonight. I don't think they'll mind if I do it late. S-So I'll be at 1333 Benny Road and I'll be having the celebration at 8 o'clock this evening. [Suddenly she takes a deep breath and speaks clearer now. There is no hesitance.]

We shouldn't let Mayfield ruin things for us. Holidays, birthdays, relationships or anything at all. If you want to celebrate anything you missed, I'll have room for extra food.


C. ACTION; TANABATA CELEBRATION

[She quickly set up a table that evening and found the things she had bought before in her trunk full of things. At least her things had ended up in her new household. There was a bit of determination to her as she set up decorations all across his yard, stringing lights across the trees and up to the porch. She would show Mayfield how a proper festival is conducted, even if she only has a yard to do it in. At least Christmas lights work just as well for these things.

In the middle of the lights, a small tree is already adorned with a few paper strips and a veritable pile of Japanese treats she made--and probably a cake or two. There's also some proper food, sandwiches and riceballs. Koharu's wearing the dress Lithuania gave her at Christmas and beaming at passerby, offering them slips of paper]

Do you want to make a wish?

[If they don't reply, she simply goes back to fixing things up]

Forgive me for missing it Orihime, Hikoboshi. I couldn't help it.

Why are you at Mr. Lithuania's house?

[Lithuania had stumbled back home in a daze of exhaustion and general unhappiness--once again he'd failed to do much successful protecting, and as a result he'd been moving mostly on autopilot since he'd gotten back out of the fun house, eating and drinking only because his body was screaming at him to and then collapsing in bed immediately after. He slept late--a rarity for him, but he was planning on skipping work the next day anyway.

Koharu's voice draws him half out of sleep, but he's still not sure if he's awake. It could be a dream--he let her get herself killed, after all, and his previous moments had been filled with the usual post-event nightmares, so he blinks blearily at her for a moment.

It takes him a few long moments to realize he's not dreaming and Koharu really is in his bed--and the exact instant is easy to spot as the instant his face flushes red and he jerks back.

Of course, he doesn't have much room for that sort of dramatic movement, so he ends up falling off the bed.]

[There is a brief moment where she isn't sure what to do. He's fallen too. Automatic polite autopilot kicks in before the silence becomes too awkward]

...Um...good morning.

[vytis]

I-uh-good morning? [Lithuania's brain stumbles to catch up with the situation. He's looking at Koharu from across the bed, still on the floor. Idly, his brain informs him her arm isn't broken any more. Then it reminds him, much more sharply, Koharu is alive again.]

You're--you're okay! ...You are, right?

[She doesn't look like she's obviously suffering from any complications, at least.]

[Poland met a fate similar to that of Koharu. Apparently Hungary was right, he really should have stayed away from the fog. Although it'd gotten considerably harder to follow that advice as time went on...

Despite reviving overnight, Poland ended up spending his morning droned. Luckily it was wearing off fairly quickly and he was starting to feel entirely back to normal again. Going outside to the dump the delivered milk on the porch, Poland notices Koharu sweeping Lithuania's front porch and shouts out to her.]

Oh hey Ko-ko-kohar-- [Poland twitches noticably mid word before finally settling on shouting,] --Mrs. Laurinaitis!

[Well. He's almost entirely back to normal. Bare with him.]

[Blink. Wow was he alright...She hesitates before walking closer to his lawn. Wait how did he--oh. Drone]

Oh it's just things I do in my spare time. A festival is just nothing without some treats.

[After saying she'd probably go to a thing like this, it was a bit disappointing to not hear about it after trying to pay attention for when the celebration would be held. That's why after finally hearing about it, she wastes no time in attending.

At the paper, she nods.]

That's usually the thing to do, right? [Her tone is a little flat, but she's actually in a good mood.]

Yes! You write a wish on the paper and we tie to the tree. I suppose I don't know if it will count if it's not on the right day but we couldn't really help that.

[ Since Madoka is still sort of used to having no not!dad in her house this week, she can be found absent-mindedly cooking breakfast in the kitchen. By which I mean staring at a scrambled egg with no motivation to eat it. She's set the table for four, even though she doesn't expect the droned members of her family or Lithuania to show up. ]

[Koharu has dressed and fixed herself up enough to venture out and she hesitates at the door to the kitchen. Take a deep breath, you can do this]

[And Lithuania has emerged from the kitchen once more, this time to check up on Koharu outside. He would be responsible for one of those cakes, yes.]
