[ACTION A: the hospital]

[Candy Striper Jane Barton is seen all over the hospital today, instead of her usual spot of looking bored and irritated behind the gift shop counter. Today, when the drone doctors and nurses aren't looking, she's making off with supplies - bandages, IV bags, disinfectants, blankets, whatever she can grab. She heard Pokey's call and agreed that they'll have to be ready on this end for if and when the people who got sucked into the fun house world come back.

When leaving that day, she'll be carrying several large bags with her, which looks like more than she should be able to carry. She seems okay though. And is that last bag just floating after her...? Yep, sure is. Feel free to stop her and see what's up now or while still inside the hospital.]

[PHONE/ACTION B:]

[Barton makes a quick call to the town.]

I got a buncha stuff from the hospital. First aide supplies 'n' all. I ain't good with this kinda stuff, but if someone who does wants 'em, I'm at 487 Stone Street. the more people with some, the better. Come pick 'em up.

[After that, she's in the garage as usual, tinkering at her various carpentry projects and engineering studies. The large bags of supplies are sitting near the garage door. Come say hi?]

Nah. Not at all, that's why I brought stuff from there to hand out to people who know how to use it.

Then why didn't the real doctors bring any?

Drone docs are useless. And not everyone workin' at the hospital is a doctor. They just kinda assign us there. So I figured i'd grab some stuff and give it to people who do know how to use it.

So long as ya don't get caught, it don't matter. We need the supplies in town.

How did you keep from getting caught?

It's stupid easy, really. Either ya do it when there's no drones around, or if a drone doc or nurse does catch ya, just come up with an excuse. Someone else asked for it and you're takin' it to them, or somethin'.

What about the people who aren't drones?

You can reason with 'em. I just told them what I was doin'. Mayfield restocks everythin', so it ain't like I'm leaving the hospital with nothin'.

I don't think the people in Mayfield have many injuries, but...the people in that other Mayfield...

'Zactly. Once they get outta there, they're probably gonna be in awful shape, so we should be ready.

Not sure. Knowin' things with Mayfield... Could be days, could be weeks.

And are you gonna take medicine and bandages until the day they all get back?

Till I feel like I got enough, I guess. Can't hurt to have too much of it.
